The Comparation of Technical Efficiency Between Conventional Banks and Islamic Banks in Indonesia Using DEA Method. This research is to compare the levels of technical efficiency between BUK and BUS by employing non-parametric Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). This research assigns Third Party Funds, Labor Expenses and Fixed Assets which are input variable, meanwhile Total Credit and Other Incomes are determined as Output Variables. This research also examines the Profitability of BUK and BUS by Using Panel Regression Model with CAR, LDR, NPL and BOPO as independent variables, where ROA and ROE are dependent variables. The result showed that the average technical efficiency of the Conventional Banks is better than that of the Islamic Banks. That is because of the inefficient utilization of Input Variables, namely Third Party Funds, Labor Expenses and Fixed Assets in the Islamic Banks.
The existence of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, or commonly abbreviated as MSMEs, is expected to contribute quite well to efforts to tackle economic problems that are often faced, such as high levels of poverty, large numbers of unemployed, income distribution inequality. The role of MSMEs in Indonesia must be able to reduce the level of unemployment, which is increasing from year to year, alleviating poverty by helping poor people and income distribution that can improve the lives of people who have limitations, especially in financial matters. This study aims to determine the effect of gender (gender), income, and financial knowledge on financial satisfaction. The results of this study indicate that the variables of gender (gender), revenue, and financial knowledge simultaneously influence financial satisfaction. If partially tested, the gender variable statistically insignificant affects financial satisfaction. While the income and financial knowledge variables somewhat influence financial satisfaction. Abstrak: Keberadaan Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah atau biasa disingkat dengan UMKM, diharapkan dapat memberikan konstribusi yang cukup baik terhadap upaya penanggulangan masalah-masalah ekonomi yang sering dihadapi seperti tingginya tingkat kemiskinan, besarnya jumlah pengangguran, ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan. Peranan UMKM di Indonesia harus dapat mengurangi tingkat pengangguran yang semakin bertambah dari tiap tahun, menanggulangi kemiskinan dengan membantu masyarakat yang kurang mampu dan pemerataan pendapatan yang dapat memperbaiki kehidupan masyarakat yang memiliki keterbatasan khususnya dalam masalah keuangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor jenis kelamin (gender), pendapatan dan pengetahuan keuangan terhadap kepuasan keuangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel jenis kelamin (gender), pendapatan dan pengetahuan keuangan berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap kepuasan keuangan. Apabila diuji secara parsial variabel jenis kelamin (gender) tidak berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan keuangan. Sedangkan variabel pendapatan dan pengetahuan keuangan berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap kepuasan keuangan. There are two types of hospital in general, which are government and private hospitals. This study will help us to understand the customer perception, satisfaction and behavioural intention of hospital meal services in both government and private hospitals in Alor Setar, Kedah. Private and government hospitals differ in their style of food offering and service system. From this, customer perception, satisfaction, and behavioural intentions were investigated using a questionnaire survey with 150 respondents using descriptive and inferential analysis. The study shows that between government and private hospitals in Alor Setar, Kedah, the respondents show a positive perception of hospital meal services in Alor Setar in both government and private hospitals. In terms of customer satisfaction, both types of hospital show high satisfaction from all respondents. However, private hospital scores a bit higher in terms of satisfaction since the services and facilities are more upgraded than those of the government hospital of which respondents did not have such a high expectation for satisfaction since the fee is much lower than the private hospital. In the comparison of hospital meal services in terms of socio-demographic profile, there is no significant difference in gender and education level in both types of hospital. However, age and income level show a significant level of p=0.011 in age for a government hospital and p=0.018 and p=0.020 in monthly income for a private hospital. For the relationship of all variables (customer perception, satisfaction and behavioural intention), all of those show a robust, lively and direct relationship with each other. Hence, this study can help public and private hospitals improve their meal services and image to attract more customers.
