The development of technology globally and spread of Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) around Indonesia has necessitated social distancing measures to minimize the disease dissemination. Along with this deal, it is necessary to have a leader's role in face this problem. This research addressed to identify the process of digital leadership by the leader in order to lead, support and manage the school by the utilizing of technology during pandemic covid19. Accordingly, a qualitative research design using questionnaires and semi-structured interviews were employed to collect the research data. A closeended questionnaire was administered to the teachers, staff, and students of MA Nurul Falah to identify their opinion about implementing digital leadership and how it's reflected in the new education system during pandemic covid-19. Furthermore, researchers have conducted a semi-structured interview to look deep into the data in this research. This research showed that most of the participants' size up that digital leadership in MA Nurul Falah was lower. In conclusion, based on the questionnaire and interviews, the role of leader and digital leadership implementation significantly affected to the management and learning activities in MA Nurul Falah.
The school supervisor has a strategic role in efforts to enhance the educational qualities. The implementation of schooling in the industrial revolution era 4.0 requires various adjustments. Likewise, the school supervisor competencies need to be continuously updated along with the demands for changes in their strategic roles. This paper tries to explain the various challenges of changes in supervisory orientation in relation to the demands of educational qualities in the industrial revolution era 4.0, with a background case illustration in Indonesia oriented towards entering the era of education 4.0.
This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of total quality management (TQM) in improving school services at Muhammadiyah 7 Elementary School Bandung. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data is collected through observation, interviews, and studying documents and records related to research. This study shows that the implementation of TQM in Muhammadiyah 7 Bandung Elementary School can increase customer satisfaction as evidenced by the continued increase in input at Muhammadiyah 7 Bandung Elementary School, continuous improvement is made by the school so that many achievements are generated and achieved by teachers or students. However, it was also found that one of the factors that inhibited the implementation of TQM in Muhammadiyah 7 Elementary School Bandung was the presence of several parties who did not carry out long-term commitments properly. These findings lead to the recommendation that synergy is needed in implementing TQM, principals as leaders should provide motivation and include all levels of management, teachers and employees to be responsible and give confidence in determining the quality to be achieved so that they can uphold their commitment to improving school services.
This paper tries to explain the various challenges of changes in principalship orientation in relation to the demands of educational leadership in the industrial revolution era 4.0, with a background case illustration in Indonesia oriented towards entering the era of education 4.0. The study is carried out by taking 'discovery-explorative' thinking methods. The results obtained that the important role of the principal in the future must be oriented to three main roles, as institutional leaders, as change leaders, and as digital leaders. These three important roles will greatly support the principal as a global leader.
