this article will discuss teacher’s teaching skill and creativities as the factors strongly assumed to influence student learning achievement. Based on the results of multiple regression analysis and product moment correlation of data collected through a survey method with questionnaire distributed to 34 respondents in one of private vocational high school students in Bandung.It is found that teacher’s teaching skills and creativities were strongly correlated with student learning achievement, both partially and simultaneously. The findings can have implications on the teaching and learning process invloving teacher and students, and also as an educational assesment to improve teacher’s teaching skill and creativities as a strong predictor variable to create better student learning achievementABSTRAKTulisan ini mengkaji secara khusus tentang keterampilan dan kreativitas mengajar guru sebagai faktor yang diduga mempengaruhi prestasi belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan regresi ganda dan korelasi product moment dimana data yang dikumpulkan melalui metode survey dengan menggunakan angket terhadap 34 responden yaitu siswa pada salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) swasta di Bandung. Hasil analisis data tersebut menunjukan bahwa keterampilan dan kreativitas mengajar guru memilki korelasi yang kuat dengan prestasi belajar siswa baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan impilikasi terhadap proses belajar mengajar yang melibatkan guru dan siswa, dan juga sebagai pengkajian pendidikan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan kreativitas mengajar guru sebagai variabel prediktor yang kuat untuk menciptakan prestasi belajar siswa yang lebih baik.
