The development of robotics in Indonesia has been very encouraging. The barometer is the success of the Indonesian Robot Contest (Kontes Robot Indonesia). In the contest no less than 40 major universities in Indonesia took part. The focus of research in the first year is a teaching module manufacturing, planning mechanical design, control system through microprocessor technology and maneuverability of the robot. Computer interactive computer and computer assisted learning strategies is a teaching strategy that emphasizes the use or the use of computers and learning aids (assisted learning) in teaching and learning activity. this research the development model used is the 4-D model. This model suggested by Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel (1974). 4-D Model consists of four stages: Define Stage, Design Stage, Develop Stage, and Disseminate Stage. This research was conducted by applying the research design development with the aim to produce a tool of learning in the form of intelligent robot modules and kit based on Computer Interactive Learning and Computer Assisted Learning at the Department of Electrical Engineering to improve the skills of learners. From the data of the Indonesia Robot Contest during the period 2009-2015 can be seen that the modules that have been developed have reached the fourth stage of the research methods of development that disseminate methods. So that, the module is perfect, ready to be duplicated and distributed as learning devices subject of intelligent robot courses. Socialization questionnaires showed that levels of student majoring in electrical engineering competencies image currently only limited to conventional machines. The average assessment is 3.34 validator included in either category. Modules developed can give hope to the future are able to produce Intelligent Robot Tool for Teaching Based on Computer Interactive Learning and Computer Assisted Learning to improve the skills of learners that can be applied to the field. Results of student responses also showed a positive response to the module of robotics and computer-based interactive learning assisted learning developed. The average assessment is 3.34 validator included in either category.
Entrepreneurship education in vocational schools is necessary, with an understanding of how to develop and encourage the birth of potential young entrepreneurs. The purpose of this study to see the determinants of entrepreneurial intentions can be interpreted as the process of seeking information that can be used to achieve the goal of forming a business. With their attitudes, attitudes and knowledge about entrepreneurship will shape their tendency to open up new ventures in the future. This study is a survey which is a preliminary study to check information about gender, age, education and work experience of respondents with as many as 130 respondents, this research analysis using multiple regression test test. Conclusion that self-efficacy is proven to affect the entrepreneurial intentions of students in Indonesia, the latter's background education being the determinant factor of the entrepreneurial intentions for students in Indonesia, the need for achievement, age, and gender are not proven significantly as predictors of entrepreneurial intentions. The variables associated with personality and demography together significantly determine the intentions of entrepreneurship. The implications of this research are to explore new entrepreneurial opportunities through several strategic steps that must be undertaken so that the more anticipated opportunities are expected to be optimal results.
ABSTRACT Development of technology makes people's lifestyles is also increasingly easier, physical facilityhas been evidence by the many people who use tools to work facilities. Ergonomic variables is one of the factors that must be considered before creating a product, for that we need a media that supports the ergonomics of the product. An anthropometric chair is one of the media that is considered very appropriate to support creating an ergonomic tool. Demands for development there are make attractive designs and also more comfortable to use. Based on this background, this study aims to make and design the design of anthropometric gauges as attractive as possible and comfortable to use. To support of new product development in anthropometric, in this study using the Kansei Engineering method and Quality Function Deployment (QFD). The calculation results show that there are 15 attributes for customer requirements and 10 technical parameters that are implemented in an anthropometric measuring instrument design. The design of anthropometric measuring instruments that are designed more consider the selection of raw materials that are more durable, dynamic and emphasize the results of measurements that are more accurate by designing the seats so they can be moved up and down in accordance with the dimensions of the human body.
The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the implementation of Project Based Learning (PjBL) on learning activities in the Electrical Automation Installation lecture material. Based on the research assessment, it appears that many passive, daydreaming students are busy with cellphones and unrelated activities during the learning process. This research is an experimental study with a class action research model consisting of two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. Data was collected using observation to see changes in learning activities and tests used to measure student learning outcomes. Based on observations, the average learning activities of the first and second cycles were 66.7% and 86.3%. Student learning outcomes also increase classically. In the first cycle, 59.25% or 16 students had reached the minimum mastery criteria, and in the second cycle, 92.6% or 25 students had reached the minimum mastery criteria. This means that the application of Project Based Learning can improve student activities and learning outcomes in learning Electric Automation Installation.
More emphasis must be placed on teaching entrepreneurship in technical high schools. Vocational training is intended to help students become successful in the workplace, as well as to help them become more well-rounded individuals. One approach is to teach young people the skills they'll need to start their own successful businesses. Studying what factors influence people to have an interest in starting their own businesses may be thought of as a means to an end-finding the data that can be put to use in creating successful new business owners. Future propensity to start enterprises will be influenced by the attitudes, actions, and information that are formed regarding entrepreneurship. The poll of 130 people includes a preliminary look at demographics including age, education, and employment history. We used a multivariate regression analysis to decipher the data. Conclusion: Students' sense of self-efficacy affects their enthusiasm for starting businesses in Indonesia. A student's motivation might shift based on their sense of their own ability to succeed. Students' levels of engagement can also be predicted by their prior knowledge and experience. There is no evidence that educational attainment, chronological age, or gender have a role in one's propensity to start a business. According to the findings of the regression analysis, the level of entrepreneurial curiosity was most strongly predicted by a combination of demographic and personality factors.
