Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design a mobile augmented reality for learning Batavia traditional culture on improving the knowledge of the citizen of Jakarta. Augmented reality is applied as an approach to enhance the interaction of users for improving their level of knowledge. The method used in this research is a marker-based method detection which resulted in a minimum response of less than 2 second, a minimum distance of 10 cm and a maximum distance of 50 cm, a minimum angle of 25 degrees and a maximum 80 degrees performed on the augmented reality marker. The result of this research is the marker-based tracking method applied on a mobile augmented reality has proven to be excellent and giving an increasing knowledge effect of the citizen of Jakarta for learning their traditional arts, architecture and weaponry.

Marker pada teknologi augmented reality merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam mekanisme berjalanya sebuah proses kemunculan objek augmented reality. Fungsi marker adalah sebagai penanda titik lokasi letak awal kemunculan dari objek augmented reality. Saat ini, terdapat dua jenis marker yang digunakan dalam pengembangan augmented reality, yaitu marker-based tracking dan markerless-based tracking. Marker-based tracking memiliki penanda dengan pola diatas suatu media cetak . Sedangkan Markerless-based tracking memiliki pola penyebaran titik berdasarkan permukaan bidang datar. Sayangnya, beberapa penelitian sebelumnya yang mengembangkan AR belum dilakukan perbandingan efektifitas terhadap ketepatan dan akurasi dari penggunaan kedua metode tersebut, pengukuran akurasi kemunculan objek AR sangat penting dilakukan untuk menentukan stabilitas kemunculan objek AR, gagal memilih marker yang digunakan akan menyebabkan ketidakstabilan kemunculan objek AR.  Maka pada penelitian ini peneliti melakukan pengujian dari kedua marker dengan parameter uji adalah jarak, ketinggian dan sudut minimal dan maksimal untuk mengukur efektifitas dari kedua marker. Hasil dari pengujian menyatakan bahwa markerless tracking lebih unggul pada jaral 150 cm dengan tingkat akurasi sebesar 93% sedangkan marker based tracking hanya sebsar 83.3%.

Decision Support System for the selection of pre-wedding locations using the Vikor and Borda methods. A tool has been made to select the pre-wedding location in the city of Medan. The criteria used in the decision support system for pre-wedding location selection are: access to the location, costs, location conditions and location situation. Knowing the process of selecting the best pre-wedding location that is still experiencing obstacles in the process of decision-making results for brides who want to do a pre-wedding photo session. Pre-wedding venue selection is very important because it determines the good results of the pre-wedding photo. Very many places that are very suitable for pre-wedding photo sessions for example in the city of medan. Decision Support Systems can come in forms, ranging from simple forms of data management to complex application forms and can also be used to accelerate and improve the quality of decision making processes in an organization

Abstract -Research into cultural heritage which implements augmented reality technology is limited.Most recent research on cultural heritage are limited on storing data and information in the form of databases, this creates a disadvantage for people who wants to see and feel at the same moment on actual cultural heritage objects. This paper, proposes a solution which could merge the existing cultural object with people using augmented reality technology. This technology would preserve traditional instrument in the form of 3D object which can be digitally protected. The result showed that the use of augmented reality on preserving cultural heritage would benefit people who try to protect their culture.
