Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan buku ajar membaca dan menulis permulaan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa prasekolah dasar. Hasil wawancara, angket, dan pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa banyak sekolah dasar negeri/swasta yang mempersyaratkan kemampuan membaca dan menulis kepada para calon siswa kelas 1 SD tersebut. Sementara, mereka pada umumnya belum memiliki kemampuan tersebut. Meskipun siswa-siswa itu berasal dari taman TK/PAUD, mereka hanya dibekali dengan kemampuan mengenali huruf, bukan membaca dan menulis. Oleh sebab itu, banyak TK/PAUD, bimbingan belajar, dan orang tua yang mencari buku ajar yang dapat digunakan untuk mengajari calon siswa kelas 1 tersebut kemampuan membaca dan menulis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan menurut Sugiyono, dengan 10 langkah. Subjek penelitian berupa buku ajar membaca dan menulis permulaan untuk siswa prasekolah dasar. Pada prinsipnya, buku tersebut mengacu berdasarkan metode iqro, yang diawali dengan membaca gambar, kemudian mengenali 3 huruf atau suku kata produktif. Ketiga huruf/suku kata tersebut dirangkai menjadi kata (suku kata terbuka) yang diikuti dengan latihan pengulangan. Selanjutnya, secara bertahap diperkenalkan 1 huruf/suku kata lainnya untuk kemudian membentuk sebuah kata, yang kemudian disusun menjadi kalimat. Pada tahap lebih lanjut, diperkenalkan huruf/suku kata tertutup dan huruf ganda; siswa kemudian menyusun huruf atau suku tersebut menjadi kata, dan kata menjadi kalimat sederhana. Sementara, pembelajaran menulis diawali dengan meminta anak menebalkan dan menyalin huruf/suku kata, melengkapi kata dan kalimat, dikte, dan menjawab pertanyaaan/menjodohkan bacaan. Adapun, validator dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua guru besar ahli Bahasa dan ke-SD-an: 1 dari FKIP Unsri dan 1 dari Universitas Negeri Malang. Uji coba buku ajar dilakukan di 3 tempat, yaitu 1 TK/PAUD dan 2 lembaga bimbel selama 1 bulan atau 12 pertemuan (3 x 1 minggu x1 pertemuan: 30 menit). Hasil uji coba secara keseluruhan menunjukkan bahwa siswa mampu mengindentifikasi dan membaca huruf/suku kata, kata, dan kalimat sederhana secara baik. This study examines the effect of flipbook-assisted e-modules on folklore-based drama script writing materials. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample of this research was 30 students of class VIII 2 and VIII 3 junior high school, respectively. Before the independent sample t-test was carried out, the normality and homogeneity tests were carried out. The results of hypothesis testing show that the t value obtained is 6.165 with a t table of 2.048 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. It was concluded that there was an effect of using flipbook-assisted e-modules on students' ability to write folklore-based drama scripts. Thus, the flipbook-assisted e-module is effectively used as teaching material for writing folklore-based drama scripts.
The purposes of this study were to identify the students’ and teacher’s needs for student worksheets for teaching local culture content drama scripts writing based on the verses of Sultan Abdul Muluk (SAM), to design a prototype of the worksheets, to obtain expert validation of the prototype, to determine the worksheets’ practicality, and to examine the effectiveness of the developed worksheets. The research procedures were based on Plomp's model and Tessmer's modified model of Research & Development. Data were collected employing multiple techniques. To obtain information on the student and teacher needs, questionnaires were administered and an interview was conducted. To ascertain the validity of the worksheets, an expert validation was carried out. To determine practicality of the worksheets, a small group evaluation was conducted, and questionnaires were administered. To examine the effectiveness of the worksheets, field tests of script writing were carried out. Results of the need analysis revealed that all students and teachers needed elearning-based student worksheets on drama scripts writing based on SAM verses. Based on expert validation, the developed worksheet was categorized as valid. Based on the small group evaluation, the worksheet was considered practical. Results of the field tests indicated that the worksheet was effective. The implication is that the worksheet is of great importance and, therefore, will likely become a major instructional material for teaching drama script writing based on SAM verses.
