Child-friendly education model will create students who not only intellectually intelligent but also spiritually intelligent. Unfortunately, theschool has not been a child-friendly environment. Students often experience bully from their friends or abuse from their teachers or another party in school. The objective of this research is to describe the implementation of child-friendly education on students of Class VB SDIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta. This research was conducted by aqualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. The subject of the study were teachers and students of that class. While other teachers, staffs, securities, and headmaster were the informant. Data was collected by observation, interview, and documentation; applying data and method triangulation. Data was analyzed using interactive analysis model. In achild-friendy education environment, students are treated as the object of education but as the subject instead. They are free to learn and to create under conducive environment. Child-friendly education in SDIT Nur Hidayah Surakarta includes: physically friendly, nonphysically-friendly, in-class learning, and out-class learning.Keywords: Education, child-friendlyeducation, child-friendly environment.
The aim of this study to develop an instrument of scientific literacy assessment that tested its validity, reliability, characteristics, and described the skills of natural science teacher candidates, consist of three aspects based on PISA 2015 as follow: cognitive, competence, and affective aspect. The subjects are 2nd semester natural science teacher candidates at Universitas Negeri Semarang. Test validity has been done by the content, construct, and concurrent validity. Test reliability has been done by calculating a reliability coefficient “r”. Characteristics tested by determining the level of difficulty and distinguishing features. Profile of scientific literacy skills is determined by measuring natural science teacher candidates’ mastery of scientific literacy. The result of a reliability test is the value of “r” is 0.71 in high category. Validity test results showed that the instrument fulfils the content, construct and the concurrent validity with very valid category and strong validity. The characteristics of developing an instrument assessment showed that the instrument has a level of difficulty that the proportion is 26.7%. The result of distinguish analysis obtained 56.7% of the items with the good quality. Profile of scientific literacy skills showed that the cognitive and competency aspect of natural science teacher candidates is very low and the affective aspect is good.
AbstrakPantun Banjar adalah sastra lama yang lahir, tumbuh, dan berkembang di masyarakat Banjar. Pantun Banjar dapat memberikan sumbangan dalam pembentukan pola pikir, sikap, dan tingkah laku masyarakatnya. Hal itu berarti pantun Banjar dapat menjadi media pendidikan untuk membentuk karakter masyarakat Banjar itu sendiri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Dengan metode deskriptif nilai-nilai yang dapat membentuk karakter positif dalam pantun Banjar dapat diketahui, antara lain menjauhi perbuatan dosa, sikap rajin menuntut ilmu agama, jangan bersikap pemalas, dan memperhatikan lingkungan.
Pemahaman masyarakat indonesia akan pentingnya pemanfaatan sampah masih perlu ditingkatkan. Barang rusak, benda tak terpakai, kemasan produk semua dibuang begitu saja. Sebagian menumpuk di tempat pembuangan akhir, selebihnya berserakan di jalan atau mengambang di sungai. Namun, kebanyakan dari kita tampaknya belum sadar akan pentingnya pengelolaan dan pengolahan sampah yang baik. Selama sampah didepan rumah diangkut setiap hari oleh petugas kebersihan, maka sepertinya tidak ada masalah yang perlu dikawatirkan. Namun pernahkah kita mempertanyakan apakah para petugas kebersihan itu akan menumpuk sampah kita disuatu tempat atau mengolahnya kembali? Semua hal itu tampaknya tak terpikirkan oleh kita. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut maka dibangun sebuah sistem Bank Sampah dnegan mengunakan metode dengan model waterfall. Sistem bank sampah dikembangkan menggunakan java berbasis desktop, dengan adanya sistem bank sampah dapat berfungsi mengelola hasil data sampah dengan menampung, memilah, dan mendistribusikan sampah kefasilitas pengolahan sampah yang lain atau kepada pihak yang membutukan, sehingga sampah ditempat pembuangan akhir bisa berkurang dan bakan bisa menambah nilai guna, yang sebelumnya dianggap tidak berguna. Sehingga sistem bank sampah bisa dijadikan alat untuk melakukan rekayasa sosial. Sehingga terbentuk suatu tatanan atau sistem pengelolaan sampah yang lebih baik dimasyarakat
