Smart parking is a mobile application that is created to overcome parking problems, although there are many smart parking applications developed in the world, only a few have a good interface design. One of the methods to assess the quality of the interface design is by measuring the usability of the application. Also, several studies have explored the relationship between usability and TAM (Technology Acceptance Model). However, is still lacking, especially about smart parking as an object. Due to that, this study focuses on determining usability attributes in smart parking applications and also modelling that usability attributes to TAM. This study using SEM (Structural Equation Model) method for modelling the relationship between Usability and TAM. The goal is the model could be used as a guide by application developers to see what factors must be considered when designing a smart parking mobile application, and for future research, it is expected that the developed model can be used as a guide when measuring the usability of a smart parking application. This research proposed ten hypotheses and findings two hypotheses have no significant effect that would be explained furthermore in the result and discussion section.
This research focuses on the production and creation of educational materials for Arabic vocabulary learning using Augmented Reality Technology, namely ARabic-Kafa, which can support both teachers and students. The Marker Based Tracking tool is used in this Augmented Reality application. This method was employed because it can read objects and then display 3-dimensional (3D) virtual objects. The first step in resolving this issue is to create animations through the blender application, choose the image to be utilised as a Marker, and finally, export it to Vuforia to form an Augmented Reality app. The mobile app of Augmented Reality-based educational media is the product of this research. A series of testing were employed and a minimum distance for displaying a 3D object is 10 cm, and the minimum angle 30° to 90° to view 3D objects. The rotation marker's output effectively shows every aspect of the 3D object. Furthermore, the audio pronunciations can be played effortlessly.
Globalisation and the rapid growth of technologies call for ease and automation in different aspects, including in tourism. Tourism is an important sector in Malaysia as it generates income for the country. In recent years, Malaysia has seen a surge in the arrival of high-spending Arab tourists. This reflects the need to provide a tool, specifically a tourism mobile application in the Arabic language, that could help ease their journey in Malaysia. Thus, this study aims to determine the usability of the i-Suyyah mobile application for Arab tourists in Malaysia. The data obtained were analysed using the Fuzzy Delphi method, and twelve experts were selected to analyse the fuzziness consensus. It was found that the i-Suyyah mobile application recorded a high percentage of expert consensus, specifically on its usability. All usability items have reached unity with the threshold value of d 0.2, and the percentage of consensus among the expert group is more than 83%.
Blended learning, defined as a combination of traditional face-to-face learning with technology based or online learning, has become one of the most popular approaches for teaching and learning (TnL) nowadays. This study by following the design and development research (DDR) approach highlights the content validity process in the development phase, which is one of the phases of the four phases of the DDR approach. The validation process involved six panels selected from among experts and instructors to evaluate the online content of Arabic blended learning course uploaded to the Moodle platform using the content validity index (CVI). The findings that were based on the content validity index from certain domains indicated that the developed online content was acceptable and validated with some suggestions for improvement by the selected panels. Once revisions were amended, the online platform can be opened to real users among students and instructors for the next phase; phases of implementation and evaluation. Through this study, it can be understood that the content validity process can be done in various methods, and among the alternatives, using content validity index, apart from other more complex and commonly used techniques such as; Fuzzy-Delphi Model, Group Nominal Technique and others. It is hoped that this study will be a future reference and alternative for researchers who are interested in exploring more about the validity content methods in particular and the design and development research in general.
