Medical Waste for Covid-19 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is classified as B3, which can potentially be a medium for spreading the virus. Therefore, management must be carried out, consisting of collection, sorting, transportation, temporary storage, to processing (destruction) based on the Circular of the Minister of Environment and Forestry Number 2 of 2020 using the incinerator and problematic autoclave methods. The purpose of this study is to find out how the law regulates the management of Covid-19 PPE waste in Indonesia and how it should be. The research method used is normative legal research. The results showed that based on the Circular Letter of the Minister of LHK No. 2 of 2020, it is determined that the destruction of Covid-19 PPE waste as B3 waste must go through an incinerator facility with a minimum combustion temperature of 800⁰ C and an autoclave equipped with a shredder. This method is considered overkill and incurs high costs. The conclusion of this study is to provide input for the Government to review or revise the Circular regarding safer Covid-19 PPE B3 waste management, including through the pyrolysis method.
Pendampingan Pencanangan Desa Wisata Berbasis Lahan Basah di Desa Pulau Sewangi Kabupaten Barito Kuala ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman dalam pencanangan desa wisata dan mengoptimalkan potensi desa wisata yang berbasis lahan basah di Desa Pulau Sewangi Kabupaten Barito Kuala. Tahapan Kegiatan ini diawali dengan Indektifikasi Masalah dan Survei Lapangan, Penyusunan Bahan Pelatihan, Pelaksanaan Penyuluhan Pengembangan Desa Wisata, Pendampingan dalam Penyusunan Peraturan Desa dan Evaluasi, Publikasi serta Penyusunan Laporan Akhir. Mitra yang terlibat dalam pengabdian ini adalah kepala desa, aparatur desa, BPD dan masyarakat desa sehingga dengan program ini mitra dapat memahami dalam pembentukan desa wisata serta terlaksananya pencangan desa wisata guna meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Kegiatan ini mampu meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam menggali dan membangun potensi desa dalam bidang pariwisata khususnya pariwisata di lahan basah.Kata Kunci : Desa Wisata, Lahan Basah, Pulau Sewangi
The rivers and canals in Banjarmasin need to be reorganized to restore the rivers and canals to be able to function. Various legal policies have been taken by Banjarmasin Government, from issuing regulations on rivers to making policies to establish a River Normalization Task Force. This research is aimed to analyze the Banjarmasin government's regional regulations that regulate the rivers and rivers layout, as well as the effectiveness of the legal policy taken by the government as mitigation of the flood problems Banjarmasin faces.This study uses an interdisciplinary legal research method (socio-legal methodology); where the law (in this case the statutory text) is not only interpreted as an object of value-free study but the law is interpreted as an object that is rich in values (including non-legal values).Based on the geographical condition ofBanjarmasin, rivers and canals should be very important for Banjarmasin as a way to avoid flooding. Therefore, it is necessary to arrange rivers and canals in Banjarmasin comprehensively and this arrangement cannot be done only partially. The river arrangement includes regulatory, institutional, and community development aspects in the vicinity. The development of the city of Banjarmasin from the point of view of city development must start from the rivers.
Tujuan tulisan ini untuk memberikan solusi terhadap upaya peningkatan pengurangan sampah plastik di Kota Banjarmasin. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode pendekatan Yuridis Normatif. Keberhasilan Kota Banjarmasin dalam mengurangi penggunaan sampah plastik melalui Peraturan Walikota Banjarmasin Nomor 18 Tahun 2016 tentang Pengurangan Penggunaan Kantong Plastik telah terbukti memiliki hasil yang signifikan yang dapat dilihat dari data-data yang telah disajikan dalam penelitian ini. Penggunaan Instrumen Command and Control yang selama ini dianggap tradisional dan cenderung tidak berhasil justru malah berhasil diterapkan dalam melalui Peraturan Walikota Banjarmasin Nomor 18 Tahun 2016 tentang Pengurangan Penggunaan Kantong Plastik. Kedepan Perlu meningkatkan kebijakan pengurangan penggunaan kantong plastik di dalam peraturan perundang-undangan yang lebih tinggi seperti peraturan daerah atau peraturan menteri serta perlu kiranya pengambil kebijakan baik pemerintah daerah maupun pemerintah pusat agar dapat merumuskan kebijakan pengurangan kantong plastik yang dapat memuat sanksi yang lebih tegas.
