The article investigates the means of expression of ethno-cultural information in artistic text, in particular plug-in constructions. It provides a brief overview of scientific sources on this issue. The purpose of the article is to observe how plug-in constructions express additional, explanatory information to the information presented in the artistic text. As a result of analysis of the actual material, the work presents an attempt of generalization and systematization of various types of plug-in constructions and their subspecies. The inserts explain / supplement / specify the contents of a historical event / person; represent important information in the sentence structure/ complex syntactic integer; reflect the inner state of the narrator / character; exhibit the individual-author's style. To illustrate each type of insertion are given examples from the works of the Russian-speaking writer from Kazakhstan -A. Alimzhanov.

The article is devoted to the problem of forming a thesaurus of a future specialist. It provides a brief overview of the definitions of the term «thesaurus». The paper emphasizes that in the field of professional training of specialists, modern terminological dictionaries, in particular special thesaurus dictionaries, are of particular relevance. The need to improve the quality of training of the future specialist on the basis of the formation and improvement of his thesaurus as one of the important components of the language personality is emphasized. The authors present an attempt to show that a gradual, systematic and indepth study of major disciplines (in particular, within the framework of postgraduate professional education) in order to form a special dictionary (thesaurus) will contribute to improving the quality of professional training of the future philologist. Examples of disciplines from the updated educational programs in the specialty «Russian Philology» (master's and doctoral studies) are given for illustration) Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. In conclusion, the authors come to the conclusion that for the successful formation of the thesaurus of postgraduate professional education, it is necessary to rely on a wide range of provided disciplines of the educational program in the specialty direction, which will allow more fully forming the content of the professional thesaurus.

We focus on the description of the time category and its interpretation in modern science. We present an overview of lexicographical sources and scientific papers on the definition of category and its analysis. Our purpose is to establish the specifics of artistic time as a text category based on the analysis of the time category and its typology. We give the basic definitions of time represented in different sciences: physics, philosophy, natural science and linguistics. We deter-mine that time and space categories are interrelated and text-forming. We pay special attention to the description of artistic time. The research is based on the works of D.S. Likhachev, Z.Y. Turaeva, I.Y. Chernukhina and others. We provide the main indicators of time category in the ar-tistic text: system of verb forms, lexical units with the meaning of time, syntactic constructions. To illustrate the results of observations, we present an interpretation of the artistic time based on materials of poetic texts of Kazakh writers and poets (T. Aybergenov, I. Isemberlin, A. Alimzhanov). We use the following techniques and methods: descriptive, comparative, observation, method of continuous sampling, linguistic and stylistic; conclusions are drawn.

The work is devoted to the description of the term “thesaurus” as a constituent of the category “language personality”. We present a brief overview of scientific information on the formation of the meanings and status of these terms in modern linguistics. The idea is substantiated that in the practice of society’s life there is a desire among students to identify, clarify and understand a huge number of terms related to the modern realities of life (globalization, integration, informatization, westernization, etc.). We emphasize that modern terminological dictionaries, especially special dictionaries - thesauruses, are becoming particularly relevant in the field of specialists' professional training. We emphasize the need to improve the training quality of future specialists based on the formation and improvement of their thesaurus as one of the important language personality components.

The work is devoted to the analysis of business discourse operating in the multilingual space of Kazakhstan, a multinational state where official bilingualism is present, and paperwork is conducted in two languages: Kazakh and Russian (Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Law on Languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan). Particular attention is paid to the identification of certain language units and the textual features presented in the texts of this discourse. Since 2007, along with the process of implementing the national and cultural project on the trinity of languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan, documentation, business communication and training are conducted in three languages: Kazakh, Russian and English. This generally affects the formation of the language environment of modern Kazakhstan – real business bilingualism is impossible without a parallel knowledge of the Kazakh and Russian languages, Kazakh and English. Taking into account the used methods of description, generalization, systematization and business texts contextual analysis, we make an attempt to study the linguistic features of business discourse as one of the most important types of verbal communication at the moment, which is not characterized by a personality component. We analyze the text of the order “On the Approval of Typical Curricula of Military Educational Institutions Subordinate to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan” and the sections of the text “Typical Curriculum of Military Educational Institutions Subordinate to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Technical and Vocational Education Specialties Group “Military Science and Security”.
