The research aims to recognize, inform and to simplify the management ofdakwah in the cyber or virtual media. The result ofthe study m ay support and provide inspiration o f M uslim society to develop and create an innovative dakwah in virtu a l media.The prim ary data are obtainedfrom the Virtual Pesantren. The data concern w ith the management o f the Virtual Pesantren concerning its service on religious information that is interesting a n d that contains educational programs. To analyze the data, the study uses qualitative-descriptive technique and the com mentary o f the data is in theform o f narrative reports. Thefindingshowsthatthecreativity ofIslamic students or management in carrying out the Virtual Pesantren is very innovative a n d high performance. Infact, m any users who visit or attend as members o f the Virtual Pesantrenprove thesefindings. The phenomenon of the television industry that is focused on rating, sharing, and advertising makes television programs more focused on entertainment programs rather than educational programs. The audience groups of television are mostly housewives who stay more at home and they are as a key figure in the education of children in the family. Strengthening the literacy media in Tegalrejo becomes important as the demographic condition shows that mostly the household mothers have low education levels, heterogeneous, and relatively poor. They spend more time watching television without attempting to criticize the content of the program. Moreover, the impressions and attitudes of the housewife are heavily influenced by the frequency of watching television. Therefore, we need to strengthen their literacy media to prevent the negative effect of television and to shape the audience to be more critical and smarter in watching the television. This research uses community-based research (CBR), which actively involves the community. The implementation of strategy in media literacy training begins with the activities of related studies to gain a better understanding about the media literacy, the position and role of housewives in observing and selecting media content through seminars and workshops, pre- and post-test about media literacy. Furthermore, learn the discourse from various groups of societies related to their views and opinions on media literacy movement. After a series of activities have been completed, it was found the testimonies from participants about the broadcasting picture in Indonesia and an image, message, and their expectations for the improvement of broadcasting in Indonesia.[Fenomena industri televisi yang fokus pada rating, share dan advertising membuat program televisi lebih fokus pada program hiburan dan mengesampingkan program edukasi. Penguatan media literasi di Tegalrejo menjadi penting karena kondisi demografi di daerah tersebut berpendidikan rendah, heterogen dan relatif miskin. Mereka menghabiskan lebih banyak waktu di depan televisi, menonton televisi di rumah tanpa ada usaha untuk mengkritik konten tayangan acara televisi dan sikap yang tampak pada ibu rumah tangga sangat dipengaruhi oleh jumlah frekuensi mereka menonton tayangan televisi sehingga perlu penguatan literasi televisi guna melawan dampak negative televisi dan mewujudkan penonton yang cerdas, kritis dalam menonton acara televisi. Penelitian ini merupakan bentuk penelitian yang melibatkan peran serta komunitas (Community Base Research). Strategi implementasi pelatihan literasi media diawali dengan kegiatan studi terkait untuk memahami literasi media, posisi dan peran ibu rumah tangga dalam melihat dan memilih konten media melalui seminar dan workshop, pra dan post-test tentang literasi media. Selanjutnya, wacana dari berbagai kalangan masyarakat terkait pemikiran mereka terhadap gerakan literasi media. Setelah serangkaian kegiatan selesai, ditemukan kesaksian dari peserta tentang gambaran penyiaran di Indonesia dan sebuah citra, pesan dan harapan mereka untuk penyempurnaan penyiaran di Indonesia.]
There are two perspectives of female circumcision among scholars. First, female circumcision is a matter of tradition that has been legalized by religious interpretations, especially Islam. Essentially, Islam does not obligate women to practice it. The practice could be accepted as far as it doesn't not destroy the functions of woman sex organ. Second, female circumcision is a tradition that has been legalized by men powers for satisfying themselves in sexual performance as well as in social relations. Female genital mutilation, which means removing the clitoris, labia minora and majora of the female sex organ, is the practice to make males having more pleasure in sexual relationship. Here, the objective of such practice is to insult 'female dignity' and to show that females should obey males domination. Islam prohibits the latter practice.
Movies be a part of entertainment media that represent the state of the community and record the dynamism of nowadays's social society, ranging from inequality of poverty to gender injustice. The Perempuan Tanah Jahanam movie is a gore horror genre featuring female actors. Its story focuses on four women as a lead female actresses. Joko Anwar as director, presents and describes female actors not solely as supernumerary and accessories in movies. The purpose of this study is to explore the value of feminism in the Perempuan Tanah Jahanam movie through signs and markers using Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis method, which also employs the radical and postmodern feminism concept inspired by Rosemarie Putman tong. Based on this study's analysis, it is concluded that women are capable and control themselves over their bodies. Women refuse to follow the public perspective that women are powerless and must always propose to male protectors. Women are independent and dare to refuse sexual abuse. The film reflects feminism in how female actresses play roles in Perempuan Tanah Jahanam's movie.
Muhammadiyah merupakan organisasi yang perkembangannya di luar negeri tergolong pesat, ini dibuktikan oleh berdirinya pimpinan cabang istimewa muhammadiyah diberbagi Negara. PCIM India merupakan salah satu dari organisasi muhammadiyah yang ada diluar negeri. PCIM India berdiri pada tahun 2017 hingga sekarang. Sehingga peneliti mengkaji PCIM India menggunakan metode Kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian etnografi realis yaitu penelitian yang menggunakan pemahaman dan sudut pandang dari orang ketiga tanpa melibatkan penelitian subjektif dari peneliti dengan menggunakan metode wawancara serta metode observasi dalam mengumpulkan data. Peneliti mempelajari bagaimana dialog dakwah yang digunakan PCIM India dalam menyebarkan dakwah muhammadiyah di India? Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa PCIM India menyebarkan dakwah dengan pedoman Al-Qur’an dan hadist dengan dialog dakwah yang digunakan meliputi dialog dakwah eksternal (untuk masyarakat Indonesia yang ada di India dan masyarakat muslim India) dan dialog dakwah Internal (untuk masyarakat Indonesia yang ada di tanah air).
