This study to determine the effect of learning methods and parenting styles on learning outcomes in Lubuk Pakam. This study used a 2 x 2 factorial design. The sample consisted of 30 students. The data analysis technique was a two-way analysis of variance and at the α level of significance = 0.05. To test the normality of the data using the Liliefors test and the homogeneity test using the Barlett test. The results of this study indicate that 1) Social studies learning outcomes in groups of students who are taught using the google classroom method are higher than social studies learning outcomes in groups of students who are taught using the Expository learning metode. 2) The social studies learning outcomes of students who cared for using the democratic pattern are higher than students who are cared for using the authoritarian pattern. 3) There is an influence of the interaction between learning methods and parenting styles on students' social studies learning outcomes. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran dan pola asuh orang tua terhadap hasil belajar di Lubuk Pakam. Penelitian ini menggunakan Desain factorial 2 x 2. Sampel terdiri dari 30 siswa. Teknik analisis data adalah analisis varians dua jalur danpada tingkat signifikansi α= 0.05. Untuk menguji normalitas data menggunakan uji liliefors dan uji Homogenitas menggunakan uji barlett. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Hasil belajar IPS pada kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan metode google classroomlebih tinggi dibandingkan hasil belajar IPS pada kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan metode pembelajaran Ekspositori. 2) Hasil belajar IPS siswa yang diasuh lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang diasuh menggunakan pola Otoriter. 3) Terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara metode pembelajaran dengan pola asuh orang tua terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa.
