Indonesian people still consume a lot of corn as a staple food. Corn productivity based on data from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics from 2005 to 2015 is not stable. Therefore this study was conducted to determine the right prediction model to see the level of corn productivity in Indonesia for the coming year, with the hope that the government has a reference to continue to work to improve corn productivity to remain stable in order to meet the needs and minimize corn imports. This study uses data on corn productivity in 2005-2015 sourced from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics. The algorithm used to determine the prediction model is the Backpropagation artificial neural network. This algorithm is able to predict times series data. Based on this algorithm, the training and testing process is carried out using 5 network architecture models, namely 5-25-1, 5-43-1, 5-76-1, 5-78-1 and 7-128-1. The best architecture obtained from the 5 models is 5-25-1 with 88% accuracy percentage and MSE value 0, 00992433.
The research was conducted aimed at knowing the effect of the Problem Based Learning model with Mind Mapping techniques influencing critical thinking skills and metacognitive knowledge of junior high school students. The sample of this study was class IX in SMP Negeri 1 Ronggur Nihuta which was taken by random sampling with the number of students 62. The instrument of this research was a test. This research method is descriptive and data analysis techniques using the t test with a significance level α = 0.05. The results showed that the influence of the Problem Based Learning model with Mind Mapping techniques had an effect on students' critical thinking skills (tcount 90.66> t table 2.039); (2) There is the influence of the Problem Based Learning model with the Mind Mapping technique affecting the metacognitive knowledge of students (t count 40.68> t table 2.039). The results of this study imply that the level of critical thinking skills, metacognitive knowledge has an important role in improving the learning outcomes of junior high school students.
This study to determine the effect of learning methods and parenting styles on learning outcomes in Lubuk Pakam. This study used a 2 x 2 factorial design. The sample consisted of 30 students. The data analysis technique was a two-way analysis of variance and at the α level of significance = 0.05. To test the normality of the data using the Liliefors test and the homogeneity test using the Barlett test. The results of this study indicate that 1) Social studies learning outcomes in groups of students who are taught using the google classroom method are higher than social studies learning outcomes in groups of students who are taught using the Expository learning metode. 2) The social studies learning outcomes of students who cared for using the democratic pattern are higher than students who are cared for using the authoritarian pattern. 3) There is an influence of the interaction between learning methods and parenting styles on students' social studies learning outcomes. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran dan pola asuh orang tua terhadap hasil belajar di Lubuk Pakam. Penelitian ini menggunakan Desain factorial 2 x 2. Sampel terdiri dari 30 siswa. Teknik analisis data adalah analisis varians dua jalur danpada tingkat signifikansi α= 0.05. Untuk menguji normalitas data menggunakan uji liliefors dan uji Homogenitas menggunakan uji barlett. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Hasil belajar IPS pada kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan metode google classroomlebih tinggi dibandingkan hasil belajar IPS pada kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan metode pembelajaran Ekspositori. 2) Hasil belajar IPS siswa yang diasuh lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang diasuh menggunakan pola Otoriter. 3) Terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara metode pembelajaran dengan pola asuh orang tua terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa. This study aims to determine the use of demonstration methods and group discussions to compare the mathematics learning outcomes of students whose learning uses demonstration methods and group discussions in class V in Lubuk Pakam. This type of research is comparative research. The population in this study were all class V students in Lubuk Pakam, amounting to 2 classes. Sampling was done by random sampling technique. The sample in this study were class VA and VB, totaling 40 students. The data analysis technique used is the t test.The results showed that the completeness of KKM 70 was 74.77% of the 27 students in Cycle I. In Cycle II, students who reached KKM 70 increased by 85.19% with a class average score of 82.59.From the data analysis with t test at the significance level α = 0.05 and dk = 60, it is obtained tcount (2.914) <ttable (2.000) so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. From the statistical test it can be concluded that there are differences in mathematics learning outcomes in the two-grade class V building subject, where learning using the group discussion method with the demonstration method can improve mathematics learning outcomes in Lubuk Pakam.So, it can be concluded that learning using demonstration methods and group discussions can improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh Model Learning Cycle terhadap hasil belajar matematika kelas V SDN 122380 Pematangsiantar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas V SDN 122380 Pematangsiantar yang terdiri dari dua kelas, kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Adapun desain penelitian eksperimen yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimental Design. Terdapat pengaruh model Pembelajaran Learning Cycle terhadap hasil belajar matematika di kelas V SDN 122380 Pematang Siantar, hal ini dapat dilihat dari terdapatnya perbedaan nilai rata-rata antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas control. Pada nilai rata-rata hasil belajar posttest kelas eksperimen 76.27 dan kelas kontrol yaitu 68.27. Berdasarkan analisis inferensial, terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model Learning Cycle terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V SDN 122380 Pematang Siantar. Hal ini didasarkan pada data hasil uji hipotesis melalui Independent Sample t-Test dengan nilai p=0,002 < a = 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa dengan penggunaan model Learning Cycle lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional.
