Effect of Learning Environment and School Culture on Students Learning Achievement at Private Vocational School of Self Development in Padangsidempuan City
The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of retail business management in class XI students of the Department of Online Business and Marketing where there are still students who have learning outcomes below the KKM. This study aims to determine the effect of using E-Learning and learning motivation on student learning outcomes at SMK Negeri 7 Medan. This research was conducted in class Xl BDP 1 and 2 SMK Negeri 7 Medan with a population of all students of class XI Online Business and Marketing, amounting to 68 people. Data was collected by means of observation, documentation and questionnaires. Then the data collected is processed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS Version 23 software. From the results of multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that the use of E-Learning and Learning Motivation has an effect on Learning Outcomes. This can be seen from the results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained equation Y= 7,864 + 0,833X1 + 0,323X2. Furthermore, from the results of the study, it was obtained that the use of E-Learning (X1) had a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes (Y) as indicated by the t-valuecount of 3.365 > ttable 1.995 with a level of significant 0.001 < 0.05. Learning Motivation (X2) on Learning Outcomes (Y) with a t-valuecount of 2.099 > t-table 1.995 with a significant level of 0.000 <0.05. Simultaneously (F test) is indicated by theF result valuecalculated of 5.839 > Ftable 3.13 with a significant level of 0.005 < 0.05, so it can be said that the hypothesis is accepted. Based on the coefficient of determination test, it was obtained that R2 was 0.533, meaning that the percentage of the contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable was 53.3% and the remaining 46.7% was influenced by other factors outside of this study.
The problems in this research are students difficulties in using e-learning, students interest in learning is still low and student learning behavior is not good. The purpose of this study was to determine how the influence of the use of e-learning and interest in learning on the learning behavior of students of the Faculty of Economics, Stambuk 2017, State University of Medan. This research was conducted at the Faculty of Economics, Medan State University, which is located on Jl. Willem Iskandar Pasar V Medan. This type of research is ex post facto. The population of this study was 629 students with a sample of 86 students using simple random sampling technique. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. Before being used, the questionnaire was tested for validity and reliability. Then the data was collected and the results of the questionnaire were analyzed using multiple regression. From the results of the partial test analysis between the use of e-learning (X1) on learning behavior (Y) from the value of > (4.274 > 1.663) with a significance value smaller than the 0.05 level (0.000 < 0.05) and for the significance value between learning interest (X2) and learning behavior (Y) from the value of > (8,575 > 1,663) with a significance value less than 0.05 level (0.000 < 0.05). Simultaneously (F test) the value is shown that > (121.105 > 3.11) and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the influence of the use of e-learning and interest in learning has a positive and significant influence on the learning behavior of students of the 2017 Stambuk Economics Faculty, State University of Medan
The problem in this study is the low student achievement in office technology subjects and the low parental attention and learning motivation of class X OTKP students at SMK PAB 2 Helvetia for the 2021/2022 academic year. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of extrinsic motivation (Parental Attention) and Intrinsic motivation (learning motivation) on learning achievement of class X office technology OTKP SMK PAB 2 Helvetia in the 2022/2022 academic year. This research is a population study where all students of class X OTKP SMK PAB 2 Helvetia which consists of 3 classes totaling 88 people and the sampling method in this study is total sampling. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, to test the hypothesis using the t test and F test and the coefficient of determination (R2) with the help of the SPSS version 25 program. Based on the results of research and data processing, it can be seen that the regression equation Y = 12.621 + 0.402X1 + 0.433X2. From the results of the F test, it is found that Fcount > Ftable (71.421 > 3.10) with a research significance of 0.000 with a significant level of of 0.005 that the significance value of the study is smaller than the significance of = 0.005 (0.00 < 0.005). Based on this, the hypothesis is accepted so that it can be concluded that the variable has a positive and significant influence simultaneously between the variables of parental attention (X1) and learning motivation (X2) on the achievement of class X OTKP SMKS PAB 2 Helvetia students (Y). The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.627 or 62.7%. This shows that the contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable is 62.7% and the rest is influenced by other factors.
Abstract-Reputable colleges will have a good value in the eyes of its stakeholders. One indicator of the value of a college achievement is the number of scientific publications both nationally and internationally. Currently, total of publication in Indonesia is still very far behind Malaysia and Singapore, and only slightly above the Philippines. This phenomenon contradicts with the fact about total of publication in Widyatama University, at the last 18 years has increased. The authors are interested to conduct further research in order to obtain the empirical evidence so that it could give the vision on the practical implications for several other universities in increasing the institution's value. This research method is passed qualitatively by straight observation and directly interviews with some key informants. The data analysis technique using SWOT analysis has done. This study shown that Widyatama University is very serious with the faculty publications. Empirically, two main factors are emphasized in improving the Widyatama University's publication performance, are favorable government and abundant resources. Finally, the suitable strategy to adopt in this institution for the future is "grow and build strategy" to maintain and even improve the performance of Widyatama's University publication.
