This study aims to find out the collaboration between class teachers, special guidance teachers, and parents of children with special needs. In addition, it also knows the optimization of the developmental aspects of children with special needs which include academic attitudes, social skills, emotions, and independence. This study used qualitative research methods. The process of data collection is done using the method of interviews, observation, and documentation study. Data analysis using the model presented by Miles and Huberman includes the process of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions based on facts in the field. The results of the study show that good collaboration between classroom teachers, special guidance teachers, and parents in the process of education in schools strongly supports the development of children with special needs. The development of aspects of social skills is more prominent than the development of aspects of academic attitudes, emotional development, and independence.
<span>The present research aimed at investigating the direct effect of civil servant teacher job satisfaction on their absenteeism. Quantitative approach with survey method was employed. The sample involved was 198 civil servant teachers from public senior high schools in Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia. The result signified that t<sub>count</sub> < t<sub>table</sub> (-2.84<-1.97) leading to the acceptance of H<sub>0</sub> and the rejection of H<sub>1</sub>. This explicitly stated that civil servant job satisfaction has a negative direct effect on their absenteeism. For job satisfaction predictors, positive attitude places the highest position followed by comfort in work and certainty in work. While the highest predictors of absenteeism from the highest to the lowest are: punctual task completion failure, absenteeism style, and no explanation absence. The study is predicted to provide recommendation for schools to promote teacher job satisfaction and suppress their absenteeism rate. Providing comfort and creating positive working atmosphere for teachers either has significant consequence to endeavor job satisfaction promotion and absenteeism rate decrease. Besides, leaders and school management board assertiveness in the mechanism of decreasing absenteeism is unarguably decisive to create fairness in policy and procedure obedience.</span>
Inclusive education allows children with special needs to get quality education services together with other regular students. One aspect that contributes to the success of education and development of children with special needs is the assistance given by the special teacher in the classroom. The study aims to determine the effectiveness of the mentoring pattern given to children with special needs in inclusive elementary schools in the city of Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. This research is descriptive and data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation. The results of the study are, first, the special teacher should have a bachelor's degree in special education or a bachelor of Education and should have attended training or seminars to acquire insight and skills in assisting children with special needs. Secondly, assistance is provided to one child with special needs and the maximum is two children. Third, special teacher activities in providing assistance include coordinating with class teachers or subject teachers and parents of students with special needs, helping children with special needs in completing assignments, providing assistance during class hours, giving remedial notes, making special notes on children's development, and together with class teachers providing an assessment of the learning outcomes of students with special needs.
Sekolah penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif dituntut untuk melakukan penyesuaian-penyesuaian termasuk dalam hal kurikulum. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan adaptasi kurikulum di sekolah dasar penyelenggara pendidikan inklusif. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan dilaksanakan di lima sekolah dasar inklusif yang ada di Banjarmasin dengan informan kepala sekolah, guru kelas, dan guru pembimbing khusus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu sekolah inklusif menggunakan kurikulum nasional sebagai acuan dalam pembelajaran. Agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa maka dilakukan adaptasi kurikulum ketika proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Adaptasi dilakukan dalam hal modifikasi materi, penggunaan media, dan penilaian hasil belajar siswa. Namun sekolah masih banyak menemui kendala untuk menyusun dan mendokumentasikan ke dalam program pembelajaran individual (PPI).
Penggunaan platform digital dalam proses pembelajaran selama masa pandemi sangatlah penting. Melalui platform digital maka proses pembelajaran tetap dapat dilaksanakan walaupun antara guru dan siswa tidak berada dalam satu ruang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak dari pemanfaatan platform berbasis digital dalam proses pembelajaran. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Penelitian dilakukan di SDN XGP dengan informan enam guru kelas dan dua belas orang siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan model interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman. Hasil temuan pada penelitian ini adalah penggunaan platform berbasis digital sebagai media pembelajaran membawa dampak positif dan dampak negatif bagi guru maupun siswa.
