This competence test is same as national examination UN that we have done when we are in senior high school. The implementation of competence test was felt as accruing load especially for nurse profession student, it’s because in previous time there was not competence test. In this case, “Majelis Tenaga Kesehatan Indonesia” (MTKI) decided that new graduation must have competence test. The implementation of competence test becomes a notice because nurse profession students who failed in this test they will unregister as a candidate of nurse in Indonesia, so that, the obligation must have competence test for nursing students caused some phenomena like afraid, strained, worried and downtrodden. The Research method that the researcher used was correlational quantitative and cross-sectional approach as the observation’s method, variable try out, IPK, learning style and Indonesian nursing competency test passing grade. The population in this research was 145 students and the sample chosen 59 students. This research used random sampling technique. The instrument to collect data were documentation and questioner, analyze data used Fisher’s Exact Test with 0,05. The result of the study showed that p=0.000 because p<a so that Ho is rejected, Thus it can be concluded that there are correlations between try out, IPK, learning style and Indonesian nursing competency test passing grade. For further researchers, I hope that can do continued study about other factors that influence Indonesian nursing competency test passing grade, so that next researcher can find the right solution to solve high value of failed problems in Indonesian nursing competency test passing grade. Keywords: Try Out, IPK, Learning Style and Indonesian Nursing Competency Test Passing Grade.
This study used an explanative survey design followed by descriptive study of the cross sectional approach, which was carried out with 2 stages. The first stage of the study was conducted by identifying internal and external factors for stunting prevention with family empowerment. The second stage involves conducting Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and expert discussion then devised a model of family empowerment as a stunting prevention effort. The number of respondents used was 280 families. The sampling techniques was using cluster sampling. The strongest indirectly data which obtained from the research analysis of the pathway to prevent stunting was extenal factors through stunting empowerment with value of 0.264. The second strongest indirect influence was for stunting prevention through internal stunting prevention factors with value of 0.114. The results of this study showed that the indirect influence of family empowerment on stunting prevention is not as strong as the direct influence
Hernia postoperative pain is the sensation of pain felt by the patient's postoperative irritation caused by thestimulation of peripheral nerves along due to surgery. Fromthe results of the preliminary study in ward Irna A HospitalSyarifah Ambami Rato Ebu Bangkalan, it is found that thehigh incidence pain of postoperative hernia. The purpose ofthis study is to determine the effect before and after therapySEFT and listen Qur'an in patients with postoperativehernia in Irna ward A Hospital Syarifah Ambami Rato EbuBangkalan. The study design used "pre-experimental" approachwith one-group pre-post test design. Population estimates istaken 15 respondents and the samples were taken by 13respondents. Sampling technique was using a quotasampling independent variables of Research is therapeuticSEFT and listen Qur'an and the dependent variable ofresearch was pain of postoperative hernia. While the datacollection tool used observation sheets with numerical scaleof 0-10 with Wilcoxon statistical tests. The results showed that pain of postoperative herniaon the respondent before therapy was given SEFT andlistening reading the Qur'an 8 (61.5%) of respondents with amean of 3.08 experiencing severe pain, while the therapywas given after SEFT theraphy and listening to reading AlQur'an 6 ( 46.1%) of respondents with a mean of 1.23experiencing mild pain. Based on the results statisticallyusing the Wilcoxon, showed P Value: 0,002 <α: 0.05, whichmeans there were significant pain of postoperative herniabefore and after given therapy listening to the recitation ofAl-Qur'an.Based on the above results, that therapeutic SEFT and listen Qur'an is very effective in lowering pain of postoperativehernia. So when experiencing pain of postoperative hernia, respondents are expected to use the therapy SEFT andreading Al-Qur'an as a non-pharmacological solutions.
Pain is a physiological reaction due to a protective reaction to avoid stimuli that harm the body. Based on the results of the preliminary study, it was found that there were still many patients who experienced pain in the elderly with osteoarthritis . The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of knee exercise therapy on reducing the level of knee osteoarthritis pain intensity . The research design is a quasy experiment. The population is 184 elderly with a sample of 32 respondents using simple random sampling . The independent variable is knee exercise therapy and the dependent variable is pain intensity in the elderly who suffer from osteoarthritis . The research instrument is the pain scale observation sheet. This study uses an observation sheet . Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test and the Mann Whitney test .Based on statistical test results Wilcoxon obtained p value (0.001) < α (0.05) meaning that there is a difference in pain intensity after being given knee exercise therapy, Wilcoxon statistical test results obtained p value (0.122) < α (0.05) meaning there is a difference in pain intensity after being given deep breathing relaxation therapy and the results Mann Whitney statistical test obtained p value (0.003) <α (0.05) meaning that there is a difference in pain scale after being given knee exercise therapy and deep breathing relaxation. Knee exercise therapy is effective in reducing pain intensity in patients with osteoarthritis. Researchers hope that health workers will maintain and continue providing health education on knee exercise therapy in non-pharmacological management of the elderly with osteoarthritis.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
