The article reveals V. Sydorenko's vision of training a teacher of labor education, technology training and drawing; the understanding of this problem is shown as a means of improving labor education and graphic preparation of schoolchildren. Briefly reviewed the biography of the scientist, pedagogical path and his scientific formation are briefly reviewed; the stages of scientific activity are analyzed, the didactic basis of the course of the drawing is substantiated; regularities of formation of graphic knowledge and skills are established; the emphasis is placed on the necessity of forming a graphic culture of pupils; the essence of cooperation between academician and teachers of the Faculty of Technology and Design of Poltava National Pedagogical University named after V.G. Korolenko, his contribution to the development of technological education. The results of complex research in the field of development of scientific and technical creativity, content of scientific and pedagogical heritage; the scientific searches of the professor are described; the main stages of life of V. Sydorenko, pedagogical views, teaching activity are analyzed. Much attention is paid to the Poltava period of the formation of V. Sydorenko, the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel. The basic aspect of activity in the field of technological education is revealed, the most important scientific achievement; V. Sydorenko's theoretical researches on problems of graphic preparation of students, scientific ideas of the professor are analyzed.

Through the special situation like the COVID‐2019 lockdown, interactive techniques play a prime role in the study process. The strategy of lockdown ways of higher education was provided in Ukraine as well as in other countries since March 2020. Our investigation was performed at the Department of Biochemistry and Medical Chemistry of Dnipro State Medical University during the first lockdown of COVID‐19 from March to June 2020. The main aim of the research was the evaluation of the students' attitudes to studying Biochemistry using Google classrooms and Moodle. Four hundred and sixty‐three students studying in English, French, and Ukrainian took part in the survey. Our results reveal that majority of the students found Google classrooms and Moodle as useful e‐learning tools. However, questions dealing with the technical issues of using the Google classrooms on laptops and mobile phones and submitting the replies to the Google classrooms cause difficulties among the students.
The relevance of the study of the relationship between professional competencies of the future teacher of technology and the formation of students' key subject competencies. The study aims to determine the system of preparation of future teachers of labor education and technology. A sociological survey among 700 students of specialty 014.10 Secondary education (Labor training and technology) based on Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University (Ukraine). The correlation of the subject competencies defined in the standard with the professional competencies of a teacher was determined: fluency in the state language - generalization of previously learned material, ability to communicate in the native (with a difference from the state) and foreign languages - consolidation of learned material, mathematical competence - development of the ability to self-learn, competence in natural sciences, engineering, and technology - development of active listening skills, innovation - storage of large amounts of information. The practical significance of the study was the provision of recommendations on the model of formation of subject student competence through the definition of its basic principles.
The article analyzes Viktor Konstiantynovych Sydorenko’s life and scientific path. The authors have identified four stages of his life as a Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Full Professor, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine: 1) the primary stage – 1951-1968; 2) the stage of scientific research – 1968-1977; 3) the stage of pedagogical formation – 1977-1997; 4) the stage of active scientific activity – 1997-2013. Every stage of his life is briefly described, the scientists’ scientific views, the results of his scientific research, opinions about the place of drawing in the curriculum are singled out and emphasized; the scientist’s concern about the removal of drawings from the curriculum and the lack of students’ basics of graphic literacy, which are necessary for further technical engineering and computer graphics. The scientist’s views on updating the content of labor training, the inconsistency of the subject title with the world’s needs are analyzed and concretized, and a modern teacher’s main qualities are determined. Moreover, in the course of the research, it has been revealed that among the main tasks that should be included in the content of future labor education (technology) teacher training in higher pedagogical educational institutions, there is students’ readiness to develop technical concepts, gain practical skills, technical and technological knowledge and creative attitude to work. The problems on which the scientist worked are outlined and systematized; V. Sydorenko’s scientific heritage is analyzed and further directions of research on this issue are determined, which are the following: the systematization of scientific works, analysis of achievements and issues of the scientific school of contradictions research, which cause the emergence of new requirements for teacher training and technologies.
