The presence of technology is changing the way people to get information and communication. In the field of counseling, information technology offers some of the latest innovations to reach out, facilitate and communicate with individuals who need help from all over the world. This qualitative research collected data through literature study by analyzing 5 research results from various academics in various countries and conducting interviews with 10 youth aged 19-23 years, and 3 counselors. The results of this qualitative study indicate that online counseling makes it easy for youth in expressing the problem in their life. In addition, online counseling has great potential in offering therapy and can be done anywhere. Therefore, clients can minimize transportation costs for face-to-face counseling. Although the results of the analysis of previous studies indicate that online counseling has a weakness that is lack of knowledge and special abilities possessed by counselors in communicating through chat and lack of skills in writing texts to avoid misunderstandings with online counseling users. In the other side, previous research shows solutions related to the use of online counseling. The counselor must face the development of technology and use it as a facility to communicate with young people.
Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kebutuhan wanita karir khusunya bidang pendidikan di era milenial. Teknologi yang terus berkembang memberikan dampak pada wanita karir dalam menghadapi tantangan pekerjaan dan keluarga. Untuk meningkatkan kinerja, wanita karir membutuhkan skill dan keterampilan yang disesuaikan dengan kemajuan teknologi. Disisi lain, wanita karir juga memiliki tantangan dalam mengurus keluarga terutama dalam mendidik karakter anak. Wanita karir memiliki peran yang strategis dalam mendorong pembangunan yakni sebagai manajer rumah tangga, sebagai pelaku ekonomi dan sebagai perempuan karir. This literature study of guidance and counseling service programs in high school careers aim to be able to plan careers in the future. Many challenges will be faced by students in determining careers, including career uncertainty, access to information and career development programs, and economic and technological challenges. To anticipate the challenges of the hands it is necessary for universities to provide optimal service to the development of student careers. The existence of a super theory career guidance program that focuses on developing vocational identity (vocational identity) in early adulthood, is expected to help early adults in developing vocational identities as a whole, so that adolescents avoid the confusion of role confusion, especially the role of vocational identity.Keywords: Theory Super, Guidance And Counseling, Career
This study aims to determine the relationship between evaluation skills and the implementation of a guidance and counseling program evaluation in Cilincing North Jakarta Sub-District High School. This research uses quantitative research using survey methods. The collection technique used in this study is a Guttman scale questionnaire and the data analysis technique used in this study is the Product Moment Correlation. This research was conducted in North Jakarta with the subjects of high school teachers in Cilincing Sub-District, North Jakarta City, 30 teachers were divided into 7 Public High Schools and 4 Private High Schools. The results of this study indicate the correlation coefficient between evaluation skills (X) with program evaluation exercise (Y) r_xy = 0.64> rtabel = 0.36, which means that there is a positive relationship between evaluation skills and the implementation of school guidance and counseling evaluation programs which means if the evaluation skills of the counselor are good, the better the evaluation of the guidance and counseling program at the school.
Pandemi Covid-19 memberikan dampak terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran siswa di sekolah. Hal ini dikarenakan untuk meminimalisir virus Covid-19, proses pembelajaran tatap muka menjadi berbasis online. Sehingga, salah satu cara untuk melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis online dengan e-learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) untuk mengelola stres akademik mereka selama pembelajaran berbasis online. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan survei dengan mengumpulkan data melalui penyebaran angket kepada 87 siswa SMA Perguruan Cikini Jakarta. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 71.2% kondisi stres akademik siswa SMA Perguruan Cikini dikategorikan sedang. Selain itu, 17.4% siswa mengalami tingkat stres akademik yang tinggi. Selain itu, 66% siswa memiliki kecenderungan pada aspek mindfulness dengan kategori sedang. Sehingga, diperlukan langkah-langkah untuk mengelola stres akademik yaitu terapi mindfulness . Namun, 64.4% siswa menyatakan bahwa mereka tertarik untuk melalukan terapi mindfulness melalui aplikasi agar dapat mengelola stres akademik. Selain itu, mereka juga membutuhkan pengetahuan dan informasi terkait kesehatan mental. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengembangan lebih lanjut terkait pengelolaan stres akademik melalui terapi mindfulness berbasis aplikasi android.
