Ketika pandemi Covid-19 berkembang di seluruh dunia, pemerintah, lembaga internasional, pembuat kebijakan dan pejabat kesehatan masyarakat mulai merekomendasikan penggunaan masker kain nonmedis secara luas untuk mengurangi penularan SARS-CoV-2. Selama pandemi Covid-19, penggunaan masker kain meningkat drastis karena kelangkaan masker medis. Oleh karena meningkatnya kebutuhan akan penggunaan masker dan pentingnya edukasi penggunaan masker kepada masyarakat melatarbelakangi kegiatan edukasi penggunaan masker dan pembagian masker kain untuk pencegahan penularan Covid-19 di Kota Palu. Pembagian masker kain sebanyak ±1000 masker kain dan edukasi penggunaan masker kain kepada pada pembeli dan pedagang di Pasar Tua Bambaru Kota Palu. Educator dari Dosen dan Staf Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu sebanyak 30 Orang. Masker kain yang dibagikan merupakan bantuan dari Badan PPSDM Kesehatan Kementerian Kesehatan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 03 September 2020 di Kota Palu. Penggunaan masker secara langsung dipraktikkan educator dan diikuti oleh (pembeli dan pedagang) masyarakat di Kota Palu. Pelaksanaan edukasi pengunaan masker dan pembagian masker kain dapat terlaksana dengan baik. Masyarakat menerima edukasi pengunaan masker serta menggunakan langsung masker kain yang dibagikan
Pendahuluan: Rumah sakit bertujuan memberi pelayanan kesehatan, yang meliputi pelayanan medis, penunjang medis dan penunjang non medis. Pengelolaan linen yang buruk akan menyebabkan potensi penularan penyakit bagi pasien, staf dan pengguna linen. Linen kotor tidak terinfeksi adalah linen yang tidak terkontaminasi oleh darah, cairan tubuh dan feses yang berasal dari pasien dan lainnya. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran perilaku petugas linen di rumah sakit Anuntaloko parigi Moutong. Metode: Jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan observasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah petugas linen di rumah sakit Anuntaloko Parigi yang berjumlah keseluruhan 13 orang dan sampel dalam penenelitian ini menggunakan metode sampling jenuh, yang artinya seluruh dari populasi diteliti yaitu 13 orang petugas linen di rumah sakit. Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pengatahuan petugas linen yang memiliki kriteria baik berjumlah 10 responden (76,9%) , cukup berjumlah 3 responden (23,1%) dan kurang berjumlah 0 (0%), sikap petugas linen di rumah sakit Anuntaluko adalah positif, tindakan petugas linen di rumah sakit Anuntaloko untuk tahapan pencucian linen mulai dari tahapan pengumpulan, pengeringan, penyetrikaan, penyimpanan, distribusi dan pengangkutan linen non infeksiusdan infeksius telah dilakukan sesuai dengan prosedur pencucian linen, sedangkan pada tahapan penimbangan dan pencucian linen non infeksiusdan infeksius belum semua dilakukan sesuai dengan prosedur pencucian linen. Kesimpulan: Petugas linen di rumah sakit umum daerah (RSUD) Anuntaloka Parigi Moutong rata-rata untuk pengetahuan adalah baik, sikap menunjukkan positif, dan tindakan sudah sesuai dengan peraturan yang ditetapkan.
People with stunting are generally susceptible to disease, have a level of intelligence below normal and have low productivity. The research objective was to determine the factors associated with stunting in children under. This study was an analytic study with a case control approach, the population in this study of all stunting cases in the villages of Nupabomba and Guntarano, Tanantovea District, Donggala Regency as many as 49 toddlers, the sample in this study was divided into two categories, namely the case group and the control group with comparisons. 1: 1. The bivariate test results showed that there was a relationship between the provision of clean water, toilet ownership and the habit of washing hands with soap in Nupabomba and Guntarano Villages, Tanantovea District, Donggala Regency. The factor of clean water supply, latrine ownership and the habit of washing hands with soap have a significant relationship with the incidence of stunting because the p value obtained is less than 0.05. It is hoped that Wani Puskesmas officers and cadres can provide education about the provision of clean water, ownership of a toilet that meets the requirements and the habit of washing hands with soap and can provide additional information about the relationship between sanitation facilities and stunting.
Background: Indonesia faces serious challenges from a double burden disease caused by changes in people's lifestyles. Since 2010, Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) include hypertension, stroke, heart disease, and diabetes have taken up a growing share of health-care resources. The coronavirus disease epidemic of 2019 (COVID 19) caused by the new coronavirus SARS-CoV2 is the most serious global health issue. Patients with COVID-19 had more hypertension, diabetes, and other cardiovascular diseases, which all require routine health monitoring. Health monitoring will greatly develop along with the development of technology and information 4.0. This includes nursing services in the future that will take advantage of developments in information technology. Objective: This study aims to implement the healthy living community movement programs using Automatic Telehealth Machine (ATMs) as internet of things for health checking and education at Politeknik Kesehatan Kemenkes Palu. Methods: This research method is a quasi-experimental intervention research. The population of study were 167 employees of Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu. Sampling process used simple random sampling method with sample size consist of 96 people. The study revealed that majority of respondents were gender and aged, physical activity was generally good, and fruits intake was also good. The measuring instrument used are ATMs device and a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Analysis of research data using univariate test (frequency distribution) and bivariate test (t test or alternatives) Results: The variables that were significantly related to systole were gender and age category (p = 0.03). The variables which were significantly related to diastole were gender (p = 0.02) and age category (p = 0.01). The results revealed that gender, age, physical activity and fruits intake was not associated with total cholesterol levels. Conclusions: Automatic Telehealth Machine (ATMs) can be implemented for health checking and education in healthy living community movement programs
