Perolehan air bersih pada sistem bak tadah hujan konvensional tidak maksimal karena mengandung debu kotoran. Pemisahan air bersih dari air kotor perlu dilakukan. Penelitian dilakukan pada metode pengenalan curah hujan untuk pemisahan air bersih dari air kotor pada sistem bak tadah hujan. Pemisahan dapat dilakukan dengan bantuan sensor curah hujan. Penelitian menghasilkan rumusan desain sensor curah hujan yang mudah dibuat dengan menggunakan bahan seadanya agar mudah dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat luas untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan air bersih. Penelitian juga menghasilkan saran untuk penelitian lanjutan.
This research was conducted to develop a dew-catching vehicle that will be used to support the application of a water misting system. The dew catcher design is expected to overcome the problem of too large a mist grain diameter in low-pressure water misting applications. The study was conducted using a 110 psi pressure pump and ten nozzles measuring 0.3 mm that sprayed mist from a height of 2 M. In this study, and the dew catcher design used can overcome the disturbance of water droplets due to the production of too large mist grains at low pressure misting. The maximum temperature drop that can be achieved is 7.6°C.
Research has been carried out on the design and simulation of human power plants to charge mobile phones. The generator is designed as a linear generator motor due to ergonomic considerations. A case study was conducted on a charging 2000mAh battery. The results showed that at a voltage of 5 Volts, a current of 4 Ampere with 1 hour of use was able to charge 20% of the 2000 mAh battery. While at a voltage of 4 Volts and a strong current of 3 Ampere, the electric current is used to charge the 2000 mAh battery by 15% battery power.
