Abstract. The article considers contemporary materials and structures for construction of buildings. The article conducts an economic study of the problem of durability. It addresses the issue of increasing longevity, affecting the term of service to building structures and the efficiency of their operation. Revealed the main factors affecting the durability. It identifies measures its realisation. The method of calculation of economic efficiency of improving the durability of building constructions.
The article discusses the ways to improve the building materials’ and products’ biostability as well as their effectiveness. Impregnation of the readymade concrete and the reinforced concrete articles with special polymer compositions or monomers is one of the methods to improve the concrete properties. The article describes the ways aimed at increasing the materials biostability by introducing the fungicidal additives into their composition.
The article deals with the problem of biological impact in building materials and construction. The method of determining the losses from biological damage is given. The structure and method of estimation of direct and indirect costs of biological damage are considered. The definition of environmental damage from biological damage and its components.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
