Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan hasil pengukuran diameter guna mengukur nilai konstanta diameter benang secara teori dan pengolah citra. Hubungan antara variabel diameter benang dan nomor benang secara teoritis dirumuskan dalam tex . Perbandingan hasil pengukuran konstanta diameter benang secara eksperimen dari beberapa sampel benang telah didapatkan. Telah ditemukan suatu nilai konstanta hubungan antara diameter benang dengan nomor benang dalam Tex secara eksperimen.
Pada penelitian ini telah dikembangkan sifat tahan api pada bahan tekstil kain katun dengan menggunakan resin tahan api dan ekstrak daun bayam. Zat tahan api diaplikasikan pada kain katun dengan menggunakan metode plasma bertekanan atmosfir dan pad-dry-cure. Kain katun yang digunakan merupakan kain kapas yang telah mengalami proses pengelantangan dan merserisasi. Pada penelitian ini telah dilakukan tiga jenis metode, yaitu metode pad-dry-cure pada zat resin tahan api dengan pra-perlakuan plasma bertekanan atmosfer, metode perendaman pada zat resin tahan api dengan pra-perlakuan plasma bertekanan atmosfer, dan metode perendaman pada ekstrak daun bayam dengan pra-perlakuan plasma bertekanan atmosfer. Penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada peningkatan sifat tahan api pada kain katun yang telah diberikan perlakuan. Penilaian sifat tahan api diuji dengan menggunakan metode uji standar tahan api cara vertikal ASTM D6413-08. Pada penelitian ini telah dilakukan perlakukan plasma bertekanan atmosfer dengan variasi waktu 4 menit dan 8 menit. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kain katun dengan perlakuan metode perendaman pada ekstrak daun bayam dan pra-perlakuan plasma bertekanan atmosfer memiliki sifat tahan api yang paling baik diantara metode lainnya. Telah ditemukan pula pada studi ini bahwa waktu perlakuan plasma 4 menit berpengaruh terhadap sifat tahan api kain katun.
In this research, a light efficiency test tool has been designed using an Arduino UNO microcontroller to provide an understanding of the use of the ohm law application in basic physics practicum. This lamp efficiency test prototype uses an LDR sensor device and a resistor connected to the Arduino microcontroller as a light intensity detector, while the variation of electrical power is used by an AC variac with the lamp distance to the sensor having a constant value. The experimental results showed that the efficiency of the lamp can be obtained through a gradient of the luminosity curve on electric power. The efficiency of the lamp is 16.935 lm/watt and the average resistance can be obtained on 983.01 which the intensity in lux is 337,05 lux on 157,68 Lm and the maximum intensity in lux can be obtained on 453,35 lux on 208,54 Lm.
RC circuit (Resistor-Capacitor) is an electric circuit that has a combination of resistor and capacitor components which are installed either series or parallel. This research was conducted to measure the capacitance of two capacitors with different capacitances with only using one resistor. This study aims to compare the capacitance both experimentally (using data acquisition systems) and theoretically. Capacitance measurements were carried out experimentally using Arduino Uno and at a maximum voltage of 5 volts. In this research, it has been successfully determined the charge capacitance of the capacitors, both in experiment and theory. It has been found the correlation of the results between experiment and theory (the value of R2 in charging and discharging process is greater than 0.95).
In textile, the application of analytical mechanics can be found in a spinning process. The aim of this research is to determine a model as well as to predict the yarn strength of ring- spun yarn influenced by the yarn count number (in unit m/g) and also the delivery speed of yarn (vf). In this article, the yarn count and the speed of delivery roll of ring-spun yarn were studied comprehensively, and based on this, a ring-spun yarn strength prediction model has been found and established by analytical mechanics.
