Abstrak: Kecamatan Karangpucung merupakan sentra peternakan kambing Jawa Randu yang dikembangkan oleh sebagian besar masyarakat setempat. Jenis kambing Jawa Randu merupakan hasil persilangan kambing Jawa dengan kambing Etawa, yang disebut kambing Jawa Randu. Hasil peternakan kambing Jawa Randu memiliki peminat tinggi, bukan hanya dari masyarakat lokal saja namun juga peminat dari luar daerah bahkan luar provinsi. Konsumen Kambing Jawa Randu berasal dari Banyumas, Banjarnegara, Purworejo, Kebumen, Jawa Barat dan DKI, dan sekitarnya. Namun demikian, pengembangannya selama ini hanya dilakukan dengan cara tradisional yang turun temurun bahkan sebagian masih berifat subsisten atau hanya untuk mencukupi kebutuhan sendiri, dan belum berorientasi belum berorientasi pada sistem agribisnis secara keseluruhan karena masih mengalami kendala dalam melakukan subsistem hilir. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merumuskan penerapan sistem agribisnis peternakan kambing Jawa Randu dalam kerangka pengembangan wilayah di Kecamatan Karangpucung. Sasaran studi ini meliputi analisis aktivitas peternakan kambing Jawa Randu, analisis keterkaitan antar wilayah, analisis keterkaitan ke belakang dan ke depan, dan analisis penerapan sistem agribisnis peternakan kambing dalam kerangka pengembangan wilayah Kecamatan Karangpucung. Teknik analisis yang digunakan meliputi analisis kuantitatif dan analisis kualitatif. Analisis kuantitatif digunakan dengan menggunakan metode kalkulasi yang menghitung usaha tani serta menghitung kelayakan financial industri pengolahan kulit. Analisis kualitatif digunakan dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif serta dengan menggunakan skema yang menggambarkan kondisi eksisting aktivitas peternakan kambing Jawa Randu. Output yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini adalah diketahuinya level penerapan sistem agribisnis peternakan kambing Jawa Randu yang baru sampai pada kegiatan hulu, budidaya, dan penunjang, sedangkan pada kegiatan hilir baru berupa pengolahan pupuk. Secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa jika sistem agribisnis diterapkan pada peternakan kambing Jawa Randu, maka Kecamatan Karangpucung akan bisa berkembang terkait dengan peningkatan pendapatan, penyerapan tenaga kerja, penyediaan bahan pangan, dan pengembangan fisik Kecamatan Karangpucung.
The socialization program for team cohesiveness was carried out at the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) of Mojo Village. This Pokdarwis has just been formed and has a role in managing boat tours and star fruit plantation tourism owned by Mojo Village. Boat tours and star fruit gardens are the mainstay of Mojo Village. The socialization for team cohesiveness was carried out with 33 people targeting the entire Pokdarwis group. Outbound activities are carried out indoors and outdoors for one full day. The purpose of outbound activities is to build the work of the Pokdarwis team as a whole and foster motivation among Pokdarwis members. The success of the socialization program was seen from the enthusiasm of Pokdarwis during outbound and through filling out questionnaires from members of Pokdarwis. Pokdarwis members have internal motivation that is better than external motivation. Internal motivation leads to self-motivation of Pokdarwis members, while external motivation refers to factors outside oneself. The results of data processing indicate that Pokdarwis Mojo also has good team cohesiveness. Compact teamwork and strong self motivation are very much needed by Pokdarwis in developing tourism in Mojo Village.
Characterizations of Trichoderma sp. and its effect on Ralstonia solanacearum of tobacco seedlings. This study aims todetermine the molecular-based characteristics of Trichoderma sp. Tc-Jjr-02 and its effect as a biocontrol agent in protecting tobaccoseedlings against bacterial wilt caused by R. solanacearum. The characterization of biocontrol agents was based on morphologicaland molecular data’s observation using microscope and the key of determination. The in vivo experiments was consist of fivetreatments: (1) inoculation of Trichoderma isolates at six hours before R. solanacearum inoculation, (2) inoculation of Trichodermaisolates at six hours after R. solanacearum inoculation (3) simultaneous inoculation of Trichoderma isolates and R. solanacearum,(4) inoculated only with R. solanacearum, and (5) without any inoculation. The experiment was repeated six times. Based onBLAST’s analysis, the Tc-Jjr-02 sequence is in accordance with T. asperellum with 100% Query Cover. Inoculation of T. asperellumTc-Jjr-02 at six hours before and after and simultaneously with pathogens providing protection for young tobacco plants by slowingdown the time for the onset of blight by 100–162%, reducing the symptom index by 56–63%, and increasing the dry weight of plantbiomass by 39–53% compared to tobacco seeds which were only inoculated with R. solanacearum.
