At the same time, the study of the educational process at the higher military educational institution and military practice showed that the physical fitness of young officer-graduate artillerymen has certain shortcomings. During the study of reviews of gunnery graduates, it was found that 22 % of reviews contain conclusions about the insufficient level of physical fitness of young officers. All this testifies to the urgency of finding new, more effective approaches to the development of physical qualities and military-applied combat skills in artillery cadets. The purpose of the work is to experimentally test the effectiveness of the developed proposals for improving the physical training of artillery cadets with an emphasis on the development of strength and power endurance. Methods – theoretical analysis and generalization of practical experience; survey of cadets and specialists; pedagogical observation and experiment; medical and pedagogical testing; mathematical and statistical analysis of the obtained results. All the tests used were consistent with the recommendations of domestic and foreign researchers. Cadets – future officers (21.6 ± 1.5 years old) who started their fourth year of training at the beginning of the experiment took part in the study military academy. A total of 121 cadets and officers of artillery specialties were involved, of which 40 cadets were divided into control and experimental groups. The results. The survey of 121 respondents revealed that the most important factors that determine the effectiveness of the physical training of gunner cadets are the use of physical exercises to develop strength and power endurance (24.1 % of respondents) and the use of loads in the process of physical training adequate to the conditions of the combat activity of an officer- artillerymen ( 12.9 % of respondents). During the analysis of the conducted study, it was established that the main pedagogical conditions for improving the quality of physical training of artillery cadets are a rational distribution of training load in all forms of physical training, a gradual but constant increase in physical load with an emphasis on strength training and endurance. Conclusions. Improve methods of conducting physical training with artillery cadets should first of all be carried out with the use of loads adequate to the combat conditions of the artillery officer and modeling of physical training, in accordance with the specifics of the military and professional activity of gunners when performing combat tasks. The developed recommendations for the physical training of artillerymen cadets of the experimental group (EG) showed high efficiency, which made it possible to increase their level of physical fitness by 21.2 %, while in the control group (CG) such an increase was 8.8 %. The functional state of the cadets’ bodies has also changed positively. The level of the studied indicators improved by an average of 18.2 % in EG, and by 7.1 % in CG
The purpose of the work was to study the structure and content of the Guidelines for Physical Training of the US Army. To solve the goal, the following tasks were formed: to analyze the main components of the guiding document, their tasks and directions of implementation; to determine the basic principles of organization and content of physical training in the ground forces of the US armed forces. Materials and methods. The main materials were scientific articles, archival data, guidelines on the organization, structure and content of physical training in the armed forces of NATO and the United States. To achieve this goal, a set of general scientific research methods was used. First of all, we used the story because it allows us to describe a wide range of issues. At the same time, the use of different sources of information helped to minimize subjective views and judgments, but they preferred literary and documentary sources, using a critical approach to their choice. The formation of a circle of literature sources was carried out after their search in the Scopus, SPORT Discus, Web of Science database. The temporal aspect of the appearance of information on certain topics was also taken into account. Similarly, there was a direct study of printed literature sources, including information from journal articles on lists of used literature. In total, more than 60 sources of information were analyzed, followed by a final review and 28 sources of literature, including 10 foreign authors, the material of which was processed using general scientific methods. With the help of the method – theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, we obtained scientific information on the research topic. Results and discussion. The work determines that the Physical Training Manual consists of three main chapters, which reveal the methodology for organizing physical exercises with military personnel. We have isolated seven principles, according to which the content of physical training classes is formed at different stages of military service and its various conditions. The main direction of all principles is the interdependence of the physical readiness of military personnel and the effectiveness of the performance of combat training tasks. Conclusion. It has been proved that the opinion of the majority of domestic experts on the formation of the content of forms of physical training in the Armed Forces of Ukraine does not differ significantly from the provisions of the governing documents on the physical training of the US Armed Forces
The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of the program of physical training of cadets of military institutions of higher education at the stage of primary education with the use of crossfit. Materials and methods. The pedagogical experiment (testing) was conducted according to the control exercises according to TNFP-2014, namely: running for 100 meters, pull-ups on the crossbar and running for 3000 meters. The formative experiment was conducted during five stages: the first stage (beginning of primary military training – beginning of the first semester (initial data), the second stage (beginning of the first semester – end of the first semester), the third stage (beginning of the second semester – end of the second semester); the fourth stage (beginning of the third semester – end of the third semester), the fifth stage (beginning of the fourth – the end of the fourth semester). The indicators shown by the cadets at the end of the research stage were used for the analysis. For the reliability of the study by the method of equivalent pairs, we formed an experimental (n = 94) and control (n = 94) groups. Results and discussion. The paper finds that research related to determining the effectiveness of the program of physical training of cadets of military institutions of higher education at the stage of primary education using crossfit proved that the proposed content of classes on the program can reliably maintain a sufficient level of general physical qualities. During the pedagogical experiment, the dynamics of the results of the cadets of the experimental and control groups in the 100-meter run is progressive. At the same time, in the first-third semesters of study, the indicators do not differ significantly (p > 0.05). In the fourth semester, the cadets of the experimental group performed significantly better than the control group by 0.25 s (p <0.01). The results in the pull-up on the crossbar during the experiment in the cadets of the experimental group increased by 6.27 times (p <0.001) and are assessed as "excellent". At the end of the experiment, the average results of the 3 km run in the cadets of the experimental group (12 min. 16 s) according to the Provisional Guidelines for Physical Training are rated "excellent", and cadets in the control group (12 min. 49 s) – rated "satisfactory". Conclusion. Thus, the results of indicators of basic physical qualities of cadets indicate the positive impact of crossfit on indicators of physical development and physical health of cadets and leads to higher results of basic physical qualities at the stage of primary education
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
