The purpose of this study was to know the result of improving students’ vocabulary mastery by using My Dictionary Application. This research used Quasi-Experiment design. This research involved two classes IX A and IX B as the sample of this research. IX A was selected as experimental class and IX B was selected as control class. In the experimental class, vocabulary was taught by using My Dictionary Application. While, in the control class, vocabulary was taught by using with the conventional media. The data was collected from pre-test dan post test. Then , the data obtained was analyzed by using SPSS. The result of the study showed that teaching vocabulary by using My Dictionary Application significantly improving students’ vocabulary. The findings showed that the mean of Experiment class students was 25.20, and the control class means score was 21.40. After treatment given, there is a significant increase. The means of the Experiment class is 48.40, and the class of the control class is 30.50. After that compared between posttest result class experiment with control class result is t (result the research) = Σ X1 - Σ X2 = t = 48, 40 - 30, 50 = 19.00. Where Σ X1 (experiment class)> Σ X2 (control class). This means that the use of my dictionary application gives effect to vocabulary mastery of students.
Garam-garaman tersedia di air laut sebagai sumberdaya alam yang melimpah, garam ini diekstraksi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan manusia sehari-hari. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi kualitatif produksi garam dari Pantai Lubuk dan Pantai Takari, Bangka Belitung. Dua metode sebagai perbandingan yaitu metode perebusan di Pantai Lubuk Desa Lubuk, dan metode penjemuran konvensional air laut yang dilanjutkan rekristalisasi di Pantai Takari Desa Rebo. Analisis potensi kualitatif garam krosok ini membandingkan dengan lokasi lain dan standar SNI. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa potensi kualitastif produksi garam dari Pantai Lubuk dan Pantai Takari cukup menjanjikan karena mampu bersaing dengan produksi dari wilayah lain dan kualitasnya masih dapat ditingkatkan. Berdasarkan metode perebusan tradisional diperoleh kadar NaCl bernilai 89,98%, sementara dengan cara dijemur konvensional dan direkristalisasi bernilai 90,94%, nilai ini menunjukan bahwa kadar NaCl masih di bawah standar SNI yang bernilai 94,0%. Namun demikian, hasil garam ini masih dapat dipergunakan untuk pengasinan ikan, campuran pakan, dan pupuk. Kualitas garam dari Pantai Lubuk dan Pantai Takari untuk Kadar KIO3 tidak terdeteksi, Kadar Bagian yang Tidak Larut dalam Air bernilai 8,98% dan (-); Kadar Air bernilai 2,23% dan 13,10%; Unsur zat pencemar Cd, Pb, Hg, As (dari Pantai Lubuk tidak terdeteksi dan dari Pantai Takari <0,0108, <0,0077, <0,0002, <0,0001). Dengan demikian, penelitian lanjutan diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas garam menjadi lebih baik menuju kualitas standar. Kualitas garam yang baik secara ekonomi dapat menguntungkan sebagai alternatif mata pencaharian masyarakat pesisir di Desa Rebo dan Desa Lubuk. Various salt minerals are available in sea water as an abundant natural resource. This salt can be extracted to meet everyday human needs. This study aims to determine the qualitative potential of salt production from Lubuk Beach and Takari Beach, Bangka Belitung. Two methods were compared: the boiling method (at Lubuk Beach, Lubuk Village) and the conventional seawater drying method followed by recrystallization (at Takari Beach, Rebo Village). the quality of krosok salt analysis was compared with the salt quality from other locations and SNI standards. The results showed that the qualitative potential of salt production from Lubuk Beach and Takari Beach is quite promising because it can compete with production from other regions and its quality can still be improved. Based on the traditional boiling method, the NaCl content in salt was 89.98%, while conventional and recrystallized drying method was 90.94%, this value indicates that the NaCl content was still below the SNI standard (94.0%). However, this salt can still be used for fish salting, feed mixtures and fertilizers. The salt from Lubuk Beach and Takari Beach did not show KIO3 levels, the water-insoluble portion content was 8.98% and (-); Water content was 2.23% and 13.10%; Pollutant elements Cd, Pb, Hg, As (undetectable from Lubuk Beach and from Takari Beach <0.0108, <0.0077, <0.0002, <0.0001). Further research is needed to improve the quality of salt to be better towards standard quality. Economically good quality salt can be beneficial as an alternative livelihood for coastal communities in Rebo and Lubuk villages.
The aim of this research was to investigate teacher’s questions based on the levels and functions of questions in English classrooms at Senior High Schools. The study was a descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this research were six EnglishSenior High School teachers In Rejang Lebong Regency. For collecting the datatape recording, observation checklist and interview were employed. Result related toresearch questions showed that the teacher’s questions were categorized remembering, comprehending and applying and analyzing level. None of the teachers used questions in, evaluating and creating level of the Bloom’s Taxonomy.In the research only five function of questions were found namely: practicing skills,checking prior knowledge, recapping, and checking understanding. From thefinding it can be concluded that The questions asked by the teachers in classroomsare in lower order cognitive level and not all function of questions (from elevenfunction of questions) were applied by the teachers.
Pelaksanaan kegiatan malam bina iman dan taqwa (mabit) pada kelas atas ( III, IV, dan V) di SDIT Darul Ihsan Pontianak tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 di bawah bimbingan Bapak Elin B. Soemantri, S.Ag, M.Pd dan Wahdah, S. Ag, M. PdPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh ketertarikan peneliti akan kegiatan Malam Bina Iman dan Taqwa (MABIT) yang dilaksanakan di SDIT Darul Ihsan Pontianak, mengingat dewasa ini problematika moral yang semakin kompleks khususnya di Indonesia. Sehingga perlu bimbingan keagamaan guna membentuk generasi yang berakhlak islami. Kegiatan MABIT menjadi salah satu solusi untuk menggembleng atau mendidik akhlak anak-anak di era modern, dengan menciptakan kegiatan yang menjadi kebiasaan seorang muslim menurut pandanngan islam. Bukan sebagai muslim yang hanya menyandang status di KTP saja, akan tetapi substansi muslim itu sendiri. Karena konsekuensi dari seorang muslim adalah menjalankan perintah Allah swt. dengan sepenuh hati dan menjauhi larangan-Nya sekuat tenaga. MABIT di SDIT Darul Ihsan Pontianak kali ini mengusung tema “Birrul Walidain” yaitu berbakti kepada kedua orang tua. Seperti yang sudah kita ketahui rasa hormat dan patuh anak-anak terhadap orang tua terkikis oleh arus kemajuan teknologi. Sehingga kegiatan MABIT diharapkan dapat memberikan edukasi dalam berbakti kepada kedua orang tua. Adapun MABIT kelas atas (III, IV, Dan V) sejalan dengan pendidikan anak dalam islam yaitu tentang anjuran sholat. Dimana pada rentang umur 7 sampai dengan 10 tahun Rasulullah saw. menganjurkan untuk diajarkan sholat. Dengan begitu, awal pembentukan akhlak dimulai dari sholatnya. Jadi seperti itulah salah satu pendidikan dalam islam dengan membentuk kebiasaan anak-anak mulai dari sejak dini. Maka dari itu dibuatlah kegiatan MABIT di SDIT Darul Ihsan Pontianak dengan desain pola hidup seorang muslim menurut pandangan islam.
This paper describes the using of flash cards to improve mastery of the vocabulary of young learners. The purpose of this paper is to illustrate the effectiveness and ineffectiveness of flash cards used in teaching vocabulary for young learners. Researchers conducted research using quantitative methods to elementary school children in SDN 2 Cijenuk. The study was conducted in four steps: first planning action, second implementation, and third observation, and last reflection. Data were collected using quantitative data collection techniques. The results showed that the use of Flashcards can improve the mastery of children's vocabulary. This can be seen from the average value of the test that increased from 71.50 on the previous test to 85.55 in the post-test. Using a flash card can make students pay attention to the lessons well and not make students bored, also makes the learning atmosphere more controllable.
