Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan keinginan peneliti untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja dalam layanan sebuah aplikasi dompet digital yang dapat menumbuhkan minat pembelian impulsif khususnya bagi konsumen milenial di Tangerang. Faktor independen yang diteliti adalah Diskon (X) sedangkan faktor dependennya adalah pembelian impulsif (Y), dan pemilihan faktor diskon adalah karena maraknya diskon yang ditawarkan kepada konsumen yang terjadi sekarang ini. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner yang diolah menggunakan SPSS 20 dengan alat analisis Korelasi diperoleh bahwa faktor yang diteliti memiliki hubungan yang tidak terlalu kuat, yaitu hanya 0,443 (dibawah 0.50). Untuk menjawab seberapa besar pengaruh yang terjadi digunakan alat analisis Regresi Linier Sederhana dan diperoleh hasil bahwa X berpengaruh positif terhadap Y, sedangkan berdasarkan hasil R2 hitung diperoleh nilai = 0,196 atau dengan kata lain variabel diskon hanya menjawab 19,6 % dari permasalahan yang terjadi. Pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan tabel t dan tabel F membuktikan bahwa Ho ditolak, dan H1 diterima atau dengan kata lain faktor Diskon TIDAK BERPENGARUH SIGNIFIKAN terhadap minat pembelian impulsif sehingga diperlukan penelitian lanjutan untuk mengetahui faktor-fakor lainnya.Kata Kunci : Diskon, Pembelian Impulsif, Dompet Digital
From the result of situation analysis and partner’s problem, pengabdi (society service) team gives a solution to enlarge the opportunity for karangtaruna (youth association) to be accepted to work upon the graduation of Vocational High School. The solution is formulated in the form of a workshop and coaching for karangtaruna members (youth association) to practice English verbal proficiency by drilling and repetition method. At the end of this society service, the results are (1) Positive response and enthusiasm from youth association in Jedong village Wagir district. (2) Improved awareness of the benefit of English verbal proficiency. (3) Willingness to take a risk in participating. (4) Improved glossary, grammar, pronunciation,and spelling of verbal English and not ambiguous. (5) Improved chance to listen to native speaker’s voice recording. (6) Improved chance to practice verbal English in the monologue (self-introduction), in pairs and mingle (talking in turns with all participants in a dynamic and fun/not boringatmosphere. (7) Learning media with mp3 native speaker voice recording becomes available. (8) Youth association members can be facilitated to listen to native speaker’s voice recording, imitating and independent self-practice in their spare time. (9) Online webs become accessible to browse and download learning media files for future learning after this society service comes to its end. Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling (TPRS) is quite essential to improve EFL learners' speaking ability. It can be done successfully by means of the basic concept of TPRS known as comprehensible input in second language acquisition (SLA). This paper presents a study on learners' speaking ability through TPRS making use of three important steps; Showing, Telling, and Reading. This is a quantitative study using quasi-experimental as the two intact groups are used; experimental and control group. The data are obtained from pre-test, post-test and questionnaires viewed from both students' and teachers' perspective. The data from pre-test and post-test are analyzed by using independent sample t-test. The experimental and control are ascertained to be homogenous in term of English performance from the pre-test analysis. The post-test are carried out from both groups after the treatment and the the result of the test are compared in order to prove if the null hypothesis is rejected indicating that there is significant difference performance between the two groups. The result of the study is expected to be beneficial for English teachers, EFL learners, and further researchers.
This research was created based on concerning the importance of efficient language use. The language use can be called efficient if the message is clear, unambiguous and can be understood by both speaker and hearer. Cooperative principles proposed by Grice (1975) explained the way people use the language well and efficiently. There are at least four maxims that should be followed in order to have achieve connection during conversation which are 1) maxim of manner, 2) maxim of quantity, 3) maxim of quality, and 4) maxim of manner. In fact, there are several maxim violations happened in human life especially figured in the movie. The maxim violations may cause misunderstanding while the conversation is going on. This paper aims to analyze the maxim violations that exist in the movie titled Night at the Museum 1. It uses descriptive qualitative method with pragmatics identity analysis. The findings show that maxim of manner and quantity are the dominant maxims which are violated.
Orientation: Health facilities in underdeveloped regions present their challenges in terms of research, especially regarding the work engagement (WE) of health workers, in this case, emergency physicians. Adjustments to existing research models are needed to obtain accurate responses. Patient centricity (PC) as a new term in healthcare is the estimated variable in this study.Research purpose: This study aimed to examine the relationship between the antecedents of WE and PC in emergency physicians who worked at hospitals in underdeveloped regions in Indonesia, incorporating WE as a mediator.Motivation for the study: Studies linking WE to PC have never been established. Furthermore, studies regarding WE have never been carried out in underdeveloped regions, and most of them are only limited to job resources as a benchmark.Research design/approach, and method: A quantitative survey was conducted through a purposive sampling technique to collect data from emergency physicians in hospitals in East Nusa Tenggara. There are 183 eligible respondents, whose responses were analysed through partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). Main findings:The direct link to WE was found to be predominated by physician autonomy and public service motivation. It was found that WE positively and significantly connected to PC. The PLS-predict resulted in large cross-validated redundancy for this model.
