Value network models represent an arrangement of actors, activities and objects of business value configured to satisfy a market segment's need. As some actors might act unreliably due to unpredicted weaknesses, opportunism that threat value co-creation, monitoring becomes an issue necessary for designing a realistic value model. The research question addressed in this paper is how value network models could be designed with a preventive monitoring organization. We therefore propose a monitoring task ontology and five agency communication patterns for this end. The ontology blends principles of Multiple Agency, Speech Acts, Enterprise Ontology and Value Modeling. We demonstrate the utility of the ontology with a case-based scenario from the Smart Metering markets, and a conformity-test supported by the e 3 value tool. The case scenario comes from the Directive 2009/72/EC of the European Parliament.
Este trabalho apresenta um Mapeamento Sistemático da Literatura sobre evasão escolar, em que se buscou identificar tecnologias de mineração de dados e fatores indutores para evasão escolar, que vem sendo exploradas para desvendar as possíveis causas da evasão escolar. As buscas foram realizadas em quatro bases de dados científicas, com o objetivo de responder a seguinte questão de pesquisa: “Quais ferramentas, técnicas e fatores indutores vem sendo utilizados para desvendar possíveis causas da evasão escolar?”. Observou-se que a ferramenta Weka é a mais utilizada para auxiliar a desvendar as causas da evasão escolar. Entre as técnicas, destaca-se a utilização da classificação. Por fim, o mapeamento identificou que os principais trabalhos da área se concentram em estudar fatores relacionados às características individuais do aluno.
Desertification is one of the world's direst environmental and ecological issue. However, the absence of reliable methods of identifying the processes of desertification is one of the main factors related to the critical study of this topic. This work has a goal to present a model capable of carrying out this task, by using estimation methods on temporal series of images. In this sense, a Landsat TM images were used to evaluate the degradation in Ouricuri, located in the State of Pernambuco, through the techniques of PDI (Image Processing), using the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and the implementation of methods tendency estimation of temporal series. Thematic maps were produced of the degraded area between the years 1989 and 2009 to evaluate the evolution of this period of desertification, plus the estimation of soil degradation in the year 2019.
A System of Systems (SoS) is a class of system composed of a set or arrangement of independent systems that together provide unique functionality for the end user. Due to its complexity, the Requirement Engineering (RE) process needs to undergo adaptations to fit the development of this type of system. In this context, the objective of this work is to propose a approach for the development of SoS, called REAP-SoS. The main characteristic of the REAP-SoS is the derivation of the individual missions and requirements of the constituent systems based on the general SoS assignments. In addition, the approach is also able to derive the requirements of the constituent systems of SoS. To validate the approach, a case study on a SoS urban traffic control and monitoring was performed.
