The rapid development of science and technology globally becomes a challenge that must be faced in the present and in the future. Reorientation of science education has seen science in a collaborative perspective through the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach. Nevertheless, the "arts" aspect needs to be taken into consideration that it is important to cultivate an innovative spirit in producing the work. Furthermore, self identity as a nation that believes in God and a united country in cultural diversity need to be nurtured. The STREAMIN Model is needed to realize the next generation of science education which has innovative, religious, and nationalist character. This paper reviews the literature through identification of science education (S) regarding technology (T), religion (R), engineering (E), arts (A), mathematics (M), indigenous culture (I), and nationalism (N). In the planning, “Spider Web” analysis is needed to see the orientation of science learning. Classroom management emphasizing reading and writing activities, as well as project-based learning is needed to improve learners’ literacy. The flipped classroom is designed in accordance with the current millennial generation. The evaluation also emphasizes the availability of authentic assessment prioritizing aspects of innovation, religious attitude, and spirit of nationalism.
<p class="Default">Saat ini lingkungan sudah menunjukkan banyak kerusakan, utamanya hutan. Hal ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh tindakan manusia sebagai pengguna. Seperti halnya pembakaran hutan, pertambangan, penebangan secara liar, dan bahkan tindakan sepele yang seringkali kita abaikan sebenarnya sangat memberikan efek buruk bagi lingkungan jika terus menerus kita lakukan seperti penggunaan kertas (termasuk tissue) yang bebas dan berlebihan. Mahasiswa khususnya mahasiswa Tadris IPA yang diharapkan dapat menjadi pelopor utamanya dalam menjaga kelestarian alam ini, dan menjadi subjek sekaligus tolok ukur dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kesadaran mahasiswa Tadris IPA pada lingkungan khususnya dalam mengaplikasikan pembelajaran tentang paperless di IAIN Salatiga. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Analisis yang digunakan dengan bantuan instrument berupa lembar refleksi yang diberikan kepada 22 mahasiswa Jurusan Tadris IPA FTIK IAIN Salatiga yang diambil secara acak dari semester 3, semester 5, dan semester 7 Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Dari data yang didapatkan, tingkat kesadaran lingkungan pada mahasiswa Tadris IPA dalam mengaplikasikan pembelajaran tentang paperless masih tergolong rendah dengan persentase nilai rata-rata yaitu 41,8%. Hal ini disebabkan oleh berbagai aspek termasuk diantaranya adalah pola hidup mahasiswa baik didalam maupun diluar kelas. Sehingga kedepannya diharapkan mahasiswa Tadris IPA sebagai pelopor konservasi lingkungan melalui pembelajaran IPA dapat meningkatkan sikap peduli lingkungan pada mahasiswa Tadris IPA IAIN Salatiga.</p>
Science learning is identical to learning that not only prioritizes understanding concepts but also wants students to carry out experiments both in the surrounding environment and in the laboratory. This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of the project based learning (PjBL) model with an environmental-based inquiry approach of additives and addictive substances and the effectiveness of the PjBL model with a home-based inquiry approach to science learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental method. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling where the sampling was divided into two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. The results showed that the learning outcomes in the experimental class had an average posttest result of 67.2 and in the control class had an average posttest result of 60.0, it can be interpreted that the group using this model was successful and the use of the PjBL model with an environment-based inquiry approach was effective on learning outcomes in class VIII students with the results of the t test calculation, namely the value of t count t table that is 6.783 2.045 and probability 0.000 0.05. The learning model in this study is the PjBL-Inquiry model which can be an alternative model that can be applied in learning, to improve students' skills in achieving their main competencies
