Energy being the very key concern area with sensor networks, so the main focus lies in developing a mechanism to increase the lifetime of a sensor network by energy balancing. To achieve energy balancing and maximizing network lifetime we use an idea of clustering and dividing the whole network into different clusters. In this paper we propose a dynamic cluster formation method where clusters are refreshed periodically based on residual energy, distance and cost.Refreshing clustering minimizes workload of any single node and in turn enhances the energy conservation. Sleep and wait methodology is applied to the proposed protocol to enhance the network lifetime by turning the nodes on and off according to their duties. The node that has some data to be transmitted is in on state and after forwarding its data to the cluster head it changes its state to off which saves the energy of entire network. Simulations have been done using MAT lab. Simulation results prove the betterment of our proposed method over the existing Leach protocol.
Newton Raphson Functional Approximation is an attractive division strategy that provides quadratic convergence. With appropriate computational resources, it can be faster than digit recurrence methods if an accurate initial approximation is available. Several table lookup based initial approximation methods have been proposed previously. This paper examines some of these methods and implements a 24 bit divider utilizing a ROM smaller than 1 Kb. A Taylor series based reciprocal approximation method is used that employs a table lookup followed by multiplication. Simulations confirm that the design achieves desired accuracy after one Newton Raphson iteration.
On demand or on pay per use of resource such as: network, storage and server these all facilities are provided by cloud computing through internet is called cloud computing. Although, cloud computing is facilitating the Information Technology industry, the research and development in this arena is yet to be satisfactory. Our contribution in this paper is an advanced survey focusing on cloud computing concept and most advanced research issues. This paper provides a better understanding of the cloud computing and identifies important research issues in this burgeoning area of computer science. Section 1 contains the introduction, in the section 2, we provide an overview of cloud computing, section 3 contains the security architecture and section 4 will focus on the research issues and security issue. We conclude the paper on section 5 along with references.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
