Humanitarian workers operate in complex environments with various challenges and demanding working conditions. These challenges put aid workers in a range of risks and under the pressure. However, human resources are crucial for success of humanitarian operations in general. At the same time, each humanitarian operation is reliant on logistics and logistics activities are always connected with logistic staff. Understanding what motivates logisticians to join the humanitarian sector is essential information for humanitarian organizations and for recruiters within. Also, knowing which factors influence motivation and job satisfaction of humanitarian logisticians could help the organizations to struggle with the extremely turnover they have to face. Up to this moment, needed skills and the performance of humanitarian logisticians were examined. Also, the motivators of humanitarian workers are covered in previous research. Therefore, the additional aim of this research is to extend the knowledge about the human resources in humanitarian sector as well.
The employment conditions of persons with disabilities are influenced by modern trends in the transformation of social and labor relations associated with the new industrialization and digitalization, social policy aimed at improving the quality of life of this category of persons and legislative changes. So, in the Omsk region it is planned to change the quota of jobs for people with disabilities. The purpose of the study, thus, was to study the process of employment of persons with disabilities in terms of industrialization, to identify the motives of employers involved in the implementation of the state policy to promote employment of disabled people in working age in the Omsk region. This study analyzes statistical information on trends in employment of persons with disabilities. Based on the survey of employers there was revealed their attitude to increasing the quota for employment of persons with disabilities, were studied the problems faced by employers and were identified support measures in this area, relevant to organizations. As a result of research of problems in the field of employment of disabled people, there were given recommendations on change of conditions of quotas and improvement of the mechanism of assistance of employment of disabled people in the Omsk region with activation of activity of such subjects as employers, public organizations, and educational institutions.
This study examines the trends of migration processes in Omsk region related to the increase in the outflow of the indigenous population, including young representatives, as a rule, well-educated.These developments of situation will contribute to increasing disparities at the regional labor market, the degradation of the education system, professional associations, and many other problems. The author explores the migration of the population of the Omsk region in the context of employment and development trends of the regional labor market. As a result, the author comes to the conclusion that the data migration intentions of the population to leave the region associated with dissatisfaction with the state of the local labor market, namely low wages, limited opportunities to find a job and build a career in home region.
