Physical activities generate a better quality of life in those people who feel committed to them. This commitment is related to psychological and physical factors that will depend on the character of the individual who executes them. These physical activities generate a change in lifestyle and for that reason; it proposes an increase in the quality of it. This same effect is generated in older adults who are involved in this methodology. It decreases the risk factors of suffering degenerative diseases as well as those help to control diseases such as diabetes TYPE II. The general objective of this research is to determine the effect of physical activity on improving the quality of life of older adults with type II diabetes in Andrés de Vera in 2018. The methodology used was based on descriptive research, field documentary and explanatory exploratory. The results obtained were based on an analysis of fundamental concepts for the development of this research as well as the analysis of the impact of physical activity on people, TYPE II diabetes in the elderly and physical activities in the elderly. In conclusion, it was determined that strategic plans should be applied, depending on the characteristics of the people, that allow physical activity in older adults in order to increase the quality of life of individuals.
