Background of this research was the low productivity of the employees of wood-carving in Subang district. This study therefore aimed to determine the effect of work experience and wage on employee productivity. The research was conducted on the wood carving business employees through observation of 134 people from 20 wood-carving companies in Subang district. The results of this study indicate that there are positive effects of wage and work experience to work productivity either partially or simultaneously.
Background of this research is the low of business sustainability in Indonesia especially on soybean based SMEs. In the SMEs, the role of human resources, especially leaders (entrepreneur) and employees play an important role for business sustainability. Thus, this study aims to determine the effect of human resource factors on SMEs business sustainability. This research was conducted by conducting a survey of 100 entrepreneur of Soybean's SMEs in Bandung by collecting data through interviews and questionnaires. Data processing by using SEM analysis, obtained that there is transformational leader, employee empowerment and stakeholder engagement to SMEs business sustainability.
The application of e-marketing and packaging development for mealworms (Tenebrio Molitor) in service partners' business is motivated by the problem of the inability of breeders to meet market demand due to the lack of a wide spread of product marketing networks. Based on this, this community service activity aims to increase breeders’ knowledge, motivation and technical skills to develop online marketing and product packaging and expand the marketing network through online product sales and better packaging. The implementation of this activity is carried out with individual breeder partners for 3 months through the functional participation method by providing direct assistance with interviews, observations, and discussions with partners regarding the problems and solutions applied. The result of this activity is an increase in knowledge, motivation and technical ability of e-marketing as well as the promotion of mealworm products online, informative, illustrative product packaging, able to protect product quality and provide a good image of feed quality. The expansion of marketing and product packaging is able to increase sales of partner products.
The soybean-based industry in West Java had proven as business that can survive in the long term with highly increasing demand. But, at present the number of business unit is declining and entrepreneurs are constrained by internal and external factors that will ultimately threaten their business sustainability. To solve these problems, the role of entrepreneurs as the main control holder with transformational leadership is highly needed. This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership on business sustainability. Using a theory of, this research was conducted with survey of CFA to confirm a questionnaire in-strument to 100 entrepreneurs of SMEs based on West Java soybean. The data obtained were processed by Structural Equation Modeling analysis. The result of research reveals that there is a significant influence of transformational leadership toward business sustainability. Government regulation and stakeholder were mod-erating variables of transformational leadership influence on business sustainability of SMEs. It is expected, that this research will contribute to the development of SME leadership, regulatory support and stakeholders.
This service is motivated by the problem of the low income of the people of Cibodas Village. One of the efforts to increase people's income is to increase the added value of cow's milk as one of the superior products of Cibodas Village into several dairy products that have higher added value. Increased value added by differentiation of dairy products, will increase people's income. However, most people do not have the skills to process dairy products. For this purpose, people need skills to process whole milk into other processed products (differentiate) and develop differentiated products by branding and packaging dairy products to be more informative and attractive. Based on this, this service activity aims to provide community assistance through milk processing training activities, providing product brands and packaging dairy products. The method of service carried out is by direct participation with assistance to the wives of cow breeders who are members of the PKK Karya Ibu Desa Cibodas Lembang who are partners in this research. The result of this service is an increase in partners' skills in making dairy products, determining brands, packaging, producing ready-to-sell dairy product differentiation and projecting partners' business profit and loss.
