The Government through the Ministry of Religious Affairs provides assistance to disadvantaged students through the BSM (Indonesian Cash Transfer Programme for Poor Students) program. BSM is in the form of giving some cash to students from various levels of education such as Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs), Madrasah Aliyah (MA). BSM recipients come from disadvantaged families who have been selected through various criteria determined by the Ministry of Religious Affairs through schools. Schools still find it difficult to determine which students are eligible to receive BSM, hence to help the school in making decision about BSM acceptance, this study will apply the analytical method of hierarchy process and the simple additive weighting method to the decision support system for determining the scholarship to meet the criteria set by the school. Through a combination of analytical hierarchy process and simple additive weighting methods, the determination of prospective beneficiary students by counting the highest weight through a combination of both uses 5 criteria and 26 alternatives in the decision support system can be done. The purpose of this study is to create a decision support system based on the user-centered design oriented to all user needs, therefore the user can determine the system model used. Users can map an interactive system with various modules that are used through the implementation of user-centered design to produce a useful system and in accordance with the objectives. The results of this study are recommendation of decision support system for disadvantaged students to help with a combination of AHP and SAW of 5 (five) criteria and 26 alternatives used and oriented to the user.
ABSTRACT(PC-43) is an Indonesian navy vessel type limited patrol craft made in Indonesian. The vessel was designed using a steel material with a maximum speed of 27 knots and using engine power by 3 x 1800 HP, T = 1.40 at the empty draft and T = 1.70 at full draft. The speed is decreased in the current conditions by 22 knots at 1.50 meters draft within 1 year after its launching. This fact is very interesting to be used as a paper project by analyzing the effect of changes in vessel's draft to the resistance and analyze the current installed engine power, This paper carried two methods of calculation, namely: resistance and power calculation numerically along with resistance and power calculation using software maxsurf. The results from the manual calculations of power at T = 1.65 meters in 27 knots, the power needed is BHPscr = 4245.04 HP. From the data of power installed in the vessel, it was stated that the power is 3 x 1800 = 5400 HP, means a mathematical/theoretical speed of 27 knots can be achieved. Thus, the resistance and power is not one of the causes of speed reduction in Vessel Type PC-43.
The development of companies in the digital era especially product business in Indonesia is now increasingly prominent in complexity, competition, change, and uncertainty so that the company's marketing and sales systems have not reached a maximal capacity due to the lack of superior and appropriate strategy. The researcher considered several alternatives using SWOT analysis and the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to overcome these problems. The results showed that using the SWOT-AHP Analysis, it was found that the Strength parameter got the highest score by 53% and Opportunity parameter by 21%. Through the SWOT sub-criteria, it was found that the Strenghts priority were S2 (Registered patent) with a score of 0.53, S1 (New product) with a score of 0.29, S3 (Mechanical technology) with a score of 0.28, respectively. While weaknesses priority were W2 (inoptimal product promotion) with a score of 0.63, W1 (product not widely known) with a score of 0.37. In addition, the Opportunities Priority were the order of O2 (market share's openness) with a score of 0.52, O3 (More efficient products) with a score of 0.29, and O1 (Switching products from manual to automatic) with a score 0.19. And finally, the Threats priority were T1 (raw material) with a score of 0.53, T2 (price competition) with a score of 0.26 and T3 (product fraud) with a score of 0.21. The top priority of leading marketing strategy are by increasing product quality by 39.3%, while the second priority is marketing cooperation by 21.4%, the third is the pricing strategy by 20.5% and the last is promotion by 14.8%.
This requires an organization to be able to compete by always paying attention to the user's condition. Development strategy is one way to find out competitiveness in each of its power lines. To deal with user competition, especially in the face of global users, an organization must be able to establish a method as the basic foundation for the formulation of development strategies by increasing the value of competitiveness for its output or services. This strategy needs to be involved using the SWOT method as the main method to increase output, internal and external factors become the initial steps to carry out strategies to optimize business to achieve success. The use of an effective SWOT analysis can play an important role in determining the development strategy, in order to know the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats faced by the company in maintaining the survival and continuity of the organization. The problem that the answer in this research is looking for is whether the SWOT analysis is the right strategy to increase output in the organization and how the development strategy applied by the organization in overcoming global friendships. In connection with these problems the following hypothesis is proposed: It is suspected that using a SWOT analysis can increase output so that the organization experiences a profit (surplus). This study uses primary data by providing questionnaires and secondary data to obtain archives or documents. In line with the problem and the research hypothesis, this study was conducted using the IFAS analysis method to analyze internal factors, EFAS analysis for external factors, then, included in the quantitative model, namely the SWOT matrix. The results of the analysis show that, using IFAS and EFAS analysis and using SWOT analysis shows the position of the organization in cell 2, the strategy chosen to support the achievement of the objectives of the organization is ST strategy. Keywords: SWOT, Strategy, Product Marketing, Business.
