This study aims to compare the omzet between offline and online sales in the shredded fish business unit in Makassar. This research lasted for two months using qualitative and quantitative research types with a purposive method in sampling. This research uses observation, interview, and literature study techniques in data collection methods and acceptance formulas for calculating quantitative data. The data used in this study are primary data that is data obtained after conducting interviews with three shredded fish business units in Makassar, interviews conducted related to offline and online sales efforts conducted by each business unit and secondary data obtained from the results report sales and literature that supports research from three shredded fish business units in Makassar. Based on the results of the study showed an average offline sales turnover of Rp 3.772.000 and online sales of Rp 24.132.430, where offline only uses production sites and entrusted to sell in stores, while online uses the application WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Gojek, and Grab so that the wider market reach.
Jellyfish are generally regarded as disturbing animals in the waters by most fishermen because they can hinder the speed of the ship when blooming. This study aims to obtain information on the types of jellyfish and their use in Makassar. This research was conducted in July-December 2018, which carried out a sampling of types of jellyfish in the coastal waters of Makassar, identification of types in the Laboratory of Water Productivity and Quality of the Department of Fisheries, Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Hasanuddin University. The economic potential of the identified jellyfish was calculated by a business feasibility analysis. The results of the study show that there are four genera jellyfish found, namely Aurelia, Porpita, Aequorea, and Salpa. Aurelia, with the largest amount, was found during sampling in coastal waters of Makassar. For sampling a day, there were 215 individuals. This number is relatively small because it is not a period of blooming. But this has become a benchmark for the existence of viable resources for entrepreneurship. The economic potential of jellyfish is estimated from a daily catch of 2.15 million. This is very challenging as a new economic source where jellyfish culinary is a healthy snack in the future and currently has been glimpsed by millennial businessmen.
Pelaksanaan KKN Tematik Universitas Hasanuddin pada tahun ini tidak berdasarkan domisili, melainkan tersebar ke berbagai wilayah di Sulawesi Selatan. Mahasiswa KKN masing-masing diharapkan dapat menjadi duta perubahan di dalam lingkup masyarakat. Sedangkan di daerah Pangkep, unhas memberikan tema khusus yaitu “IPTEKS" sebagai salah satu amanat dari bupati setempat untuk berpartisipasi pada salah satu kegiatan Pendidikan daerah setempat yaitu Program Pasti Cerdas. Dalam kegiatan KKN ini, penyusun mengadakan berbagai program kerja dalam rangka pengabdian kepada masyarakat salah satunya yaitu Program Edukasi Anak Desa, Program ini bertujuan untuk untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan peningkatan minat belajar khususnya untuk bidang keilmuan calistung sekaligus sebagai sarana pengembangan kesadaran akan pentingnya ilmu pengetahuan sejak dini. Hasil Evaluasi kegiatan ini adalah diperoleh bahwa 71% peserta didik lancar dalam kemampuan calistung, siswa(i) dapat memperoleh pengetahun baru, masyarakat mulai mengaktifkan kembali kegiatan jumat bersih, dan telah diperbaruhi pembatas desa, pengadaan peta sarpras desa, serta pembatas dusun. Fishermen society, especially coastal areas, want an increase in the economy. One of the catalysts is by participating actively in fisheries cooperatives. This study aims to determine the role of cooperatives as a catalyst for the economy. Through fisheries cooperatives, fishermen society as members gets more value than fishermen society who are not members of cooperatives. This research was conducted at the Juku Lele Cooperative in Somba Opu District, Gowa Regency, from January to March 2019. The alternative revenues as catfish farmers calculated are 2,567.5 million for members and 198.328 million for non-members. Ratio profit margin cooperatives as an economic catalyst are 65% for members and 23.93 for non-members.
