This study aims to compare the omzet between offline and online sales in the shredded fish business unit in Makassar. This research lasted for two months using qualitative and quantitative research types with a purposive method in sampling. This research uses observation, interview, and literature study techniques in data collection methods and acceptance formulas for calculating quantitative data. The data used in this study are primary data that is data obtained after conducting interviews with three shredded fish business units in Makassar, interviews conducted related to offline and online sales efforts conducted by each business unit and secondary data obtained from the results report sales and literature that supports research from three shredded fish business units in Makassar. Based on the results of the study showed an average offline sales turnover of Rp 3.772.000 and online sales of Rp 24.132.430, where offline only uses production sites and entrusted to sell in stores, while online uses the application WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Gojek, and Grab so that the wider market reach.
The research aims to identify and analyze the sources of risk from the input and output markets of the vaname shrimp hatchery business, and to find strategies to overcome the risks. The study was conducted in June - August 2019 in the Barru Regency, South Sulawesi Province. Survey research type. Descriptive analysis methods are used to explain the source of risk. Value at Risk (VaR) is used to analyze the source of risk, and the analysis of preventive strategies is used to find strategies to minimize risk. The results of the study: (1) sources of input market risk consist of feed prices with a probability of 36.53% and a parent price with a probability of 25.93%. Sources of output market risk; consist of fry prices with a probability of 44.74%. and fry sales with a probability of 78.52%. (2) sources of feed price risk are in quadrant II, and sources of risk for parent prices, fry prices, and fry sales are in quadrant III. (3) strategies for overcoming risks, namely making feed purchase contracts for the stability of feed and parent prices, market control, management control, and distribution supervision to the consumer level.
Lake Poso, one of the ancient lakes of Sulawesi, Indonesia, has several endemic fish species, including the ricefishes (Oryzias nigrimas), local name rono pahit. Populations of Poso Lake endemic species are declining, due to the introduction of alien species, lakeshore development and watershed land-use changes. One way help maintain an O. nigrimas population is through captive breeding and domestication, for which knowledge of food habits is a pre-requisite. The purpose of this research was to study the food habits of O. nigrimas. The research was conducted during April 2018. Samples were collected from three sampling sites: Watudilana in Pamona Urban Village, Tolambo Village and Taipa Village. The Index of Preponderance (IP) and Relative Length of Gut (RLG) were calculated the results show that O. Nigrimas is an omnivorous-herbivorous fish with an average IP range of 57.73 to 70.75 for vegetable matter and 29.25-42.27 for animal food (prey), while the RGL range 2.48 to 3.26. Rhizosolenia sp. (IP 77.84) was the most dominant plant-based diet component, while unidentified Annelida larvae (IP 24.49) were the most common animal food.
Syirkah catfish is formed from the belief in the strength of pilgrims and the desire to present a business model without usury. The purpose of this study was to find out how much the benefits and contributions of the Syirkah of catfish to the economy of pilgrims. This research was conducted in April 2018 - March 2019 in Makassar, South Sulawesi. Respondents who have interviewed directly, the data obtained were analyzed further using income analysis. The results of this study show that economically, this Syirkah catfish is a loss. The harvest target of 1.5 tons is not met from the seed stock of 15,000 seeds. But on an institutional basis, this Syirkah of catfish contributes where the losses incurred are shared equally. The absence of usury makes the loss experienced is not large. The return of joint capital after the harvest is sold at 70% of the value of the shares planted.
