Eng ineering theory of elastic plastic bending is used in solving a grate variety of strength and durability problems. The accuracy of analysis depends on stress-strain curve idealizat ion model. The elastic linear hardening stress-strain relation is simp le and frequently used. But the actual stress-strain behaviour of ductile material in plastic reg ion is non-linear and, therefore, elastic power hardening material model is more p referab le. Moreover, the properties of monotonic tension and compression as proportional limits and parameters of hardening can differ. In this regard, analytical solution for rectangular and circular cross-section elements loading by monotonic elastic plastic pure bending is presented in the paper. The simp le power relation of stress and strain response is used. The equations describing deviation of the stress neutral axis fro m centroidal axis of an element and dimensionless bending mo ment are derived.
This work attempts to show some case studies through Infrared thermography involvements in the industrial maintenance. Initially critical points of the essential or very important machines and electrical circulation units for the production have to investigated. The points where we observed abnormal temperature variations were further analysed using other advanced tools like: vibration analyzer, Laser alignment tool, Oil analyser and Ultrasonic detector. The main objective is to prove that by implementing a good scheduled thermography survey one can decrease major expenses and save time. In addition, it has the capacity to contribute to the reliability of maintenance and minimize unexpected plant shutdowns dramatically in small and large-scale industries.
An analysis of the company's existing palletizing process has been performed, and the most appropriate method of process modernization has been selected accordingly. Also, a robot was selected according to the type of container to be palletized and its weight. A prototype of a robot manipulator gripper has been designed. The load calculation of the gripper levers was performed, the pneumatic cylinders for the lever control were selected. Lever strength analysis was also performed. The gripper mass was determined.
Automotive engines are getting more and more advanced. This causes the change in the development of injectors. The nozzle spray fuel quality has to meet certain requirements, such as sprayed droplet size, flare length, and sprayed fuel. Using the method of analysis and synthesis of scientific literature sources, the main parameters of gasoline injectors were calculated in this work. The results of the research have been compared with calculated parameters obtained from the injectors test stand.The paper has been prepared on the basis of G. Brunius’ Master Thesis.
