The social networks such as Facebook, Line or Wechat recommend the friends for the users based on user's personal data such as common contact list or mobility traces. However, outsourcing users' personal information to the cloud for friend matching will raise a serious privacy concern due to the potential risk of data abusing. In this study, we propose a novel Scalable and Privacy-preserving Friend Matching protocol, or SPFM in short, which aims to provide a scalable friend matching and recommendation solutions without revealing the user's personal data to the cloud. Different from the previous works which involves multiple rounds of protocols, SPFM presents a scalable solution which can prevent honest-but-curious mobile cloud from obtaining the original data and support the friend matching of multiple users simultaneously. We give detailed feasibility and security analysis on SPFM and its accuracy and security have been well demonstrated via extensive simulations. The result show that our scheme works even better when original data is large.
In Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI), interconnect design has become a supreme issue in high speed ICs. With the decreased feature size of CMOS circuits, on-chip interconnect now dominates both circuit delay and power consumption. An eminent technique known as repeater/buffer insertion is used in long interconnections to reduce delay in VLSI circuits. This paper deals with some distinct low power alternative circuits in buffer insertion technique and it proposes two new techniques: Dynamic Threshold Swing Limited (DTSL) and High Dynamic Threshold Swing Limited (HDTSL). The DTSL uses Dynamic Threshold MOSFET configuration. In this gate is tied to the body and it limits the output swing. High Dynamic Threshold Swing Limited (HDTSL) also uses the same configuration along with a high threshold voltage(high-Vth). The simulation results are performed in Cadence virtuoso environment tool using 45nm technology. By simulating and comparing these various repeater circuits along with the proposed circuits it is analyzed that there is trade off among power, delay and Power Delay Product and the 34.66% of power is reduced by using the high-V th in HDTSL when compared to DTSL.
The computer technology has come up with various technology one among is the cloudbased services have become more important and prominent. Cloud based services provide users with lots of security issues. Therefore, the study of access control scheme to protect users privacy in cloud environment is of great significance. In this paper, we present an access control scheme to the stored data in the cloud . The users who access the data stored in the cloud should request the data owner. The Key is generated in order to obtain the data. This provides the security feature to stored information. Function and performance testing shows that the PS-ACS scheme can achieve privacy protection in cloud based services.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
