Employee performance remains a challenge for companies because of the increasingly competitive level of competition. Organizations are increasingly required to focus on Human Resource Management (HRM) to improve organizational sustainability. Achieving organizational sustainability becomes unrealistic without employee participation and commitment. This study aims to analyze the effect of work-life balance, job demands, job insecurity on employee performance with employee well-being as a mediating variable. The research method used is explanatory quantitative with SEM-PLS. The sample in this study were 100 employees of PT Jaya Lautan Global. The sampling technique used in this research is saturated sampling (census). The results showed that Work-Life Balance and Job Demands had a positive and significant effect on Employee Well-Being. Job Insecurity has a negative and significant effect on Employee Well-Being. Work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job Demands have a negative and significant effect on employee performance, while Job Insecurity has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance. Employee well-being has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results of the mediation show that employee well-being can partially mediate the effect of work-life balance and job insecurity on employee performance, while employee well-being can fully mediate the effect of job demands on employee performance.
This study aims to analyze a impact empowerment of employees, organizational justice, conflict and work motivation on employee performance through case studies Mandiri Branch Office (KCP) Social Security Bank in Jakarta, Indonesia. This study adopted a causal research design and data collection methods by conducting a questionnaire survey of 41 respondents en. The sampling technique is intended is a sampling technique is saturated. The analytical tool intended is SPSS version 21. The results show that some employee authorization, organizational justice, and work motivation are related to impact positively d 's significant to employees performance. At the same time, conflict has a partial negative impact on employee performance and is not significant. In addition, employee empowerment, organizational justice, conflict and work motivation also have a significant impact on employee performance.
Every company needs to improve the performance of their employees to achieve company goals, especially for the current era of globalization. One of the things that can improve employee performance is continuing education. An increase in the number of Master of Management Students who decide not to be active and take time off from lectures at MB University is an interesting phenomenon to study. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of workload, perceived organizational support, and time management on academic procrastination with work school conflict as a mediating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach method. the type of data used is primary data obtained through a questionnaire. The population in this study was 653 students of the Master of Management at Mercu Buana University. by using the solving formula, the sample obtained was 248 people. Purposive sampling is the sampling technique used in this study. The data analysis technique used is Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS software. The results showed that workload has a positive and significant relationship with academic procrastination, and perceptions of organizational support had a negative and significant result on academic procrastination. Time management has a negative and significant result on academic procrastination. WSC has a positive and significant relationship with academic procrastination. workload has a positive and significant relationship with WSC, and perceptions of organizational support have a negative and significant relationship with work school conflict. Time management has a negative and significant relationship with work school conflict. The mediation results show that work school conflict can partially mediate the relationship between workload, POS, and time management with academic procrastination.
The aims of this research paper are to analyze the problems related to some aspects of the Indonesia Islamic Banking such as the implementation of Shari'ah principles and its value chain on the Funding of Islamic Banking, and to formulate an improvement proposal to improve the business process of third party mobilization in order to increase the performance of Islamic Banking in Indonesia. This is a combined qualitative and quantitative research. Value Stream Mapping, Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) and Analytic Network Process were used in a qualitative approach. Likert scale questionnaire was used in a quantitative approach. The results of this research involve a proposition to change the business process of funding, which was actually an outcome of business process reengineering with enablers of information technology development and adjustment of policies related with the enhancement of Islamic principles implementation and business strategy formulation. Design of BPR was able to reduce the waiting time (queue) as a waste or non value added sub process (NVA) and re-layout several necessary but non value-added sub process (NNVA). The business process changes will be effective with the two groups of enabler. The first enabler is information technology development, such as online regristation, and instalation of self service banking machine (SSBM) and/or Cash Deposit Machine (CDM). The second enabler is the policies adjustment that included the recommendations to increase Shari'ah values implementation, as well as the adjustment of strategies combined with a sequential priority of resources empowerment, product development, institutional strengthening, and increase in marketing.
Business Process Reengineering of Funding on Indonesia's Islamic Banks. This research attempts to analyze the value chain of Islamic banking business processes and to develop a business processes model on depositors' funds in order to improve the performance of Islamic banks. Four models of Islamic banking operating in Indonesia are used as the objects of the study. This research applies qualitative study (exploratory) approach and utilizes primary data obtained from questionnaire and interviews. This data are then processed by value stream mapping and process activity mapping. This study shows that the waiting time for services is the sub-stage of business process that does not have value added and categorized as pure waste based on VSM criteria. The reengineering of business process of the third party fundraising may reduce collection time up to 1490 minutes for corporate customer and 22 minutes for individual customer.
