Rapid development of smartphone technologies in Asian countries has increased the demand of mobile banking in financial services and mobile commerce. Current research is conducted for mobile banking adoption in China and Pakistan. The social influence was added with technology acceptance model to investigate the direct effect on individuals' intention. Moderating role of cultural values was explored in the proposed model. Empirical study was performed for the data received from both countries to examine the developed model. Multiple and hierarchical regression analyses (IBM SPSS software) were carried out to test the proposed hypotheses. We have observed that perceived usefulness, social influence, and perceived ease of use are significant predictors of individuals' intentions to adopt m-banking in Pakistan, whereas the perceived usefulness is an important predictor in China. The moderating role of cultural values was observed as dampening factor in positive relationship between social influence and individuals' intentions.
The aim of this research is to find out the determinants of social entrepreneurial intentions for educational programs. For this purpose, some of the factors have been included in this research as the determinants of social entrepreneurial intention. Prior experience has been added as the independent variable although empathy, moral obligation, self-efficacy, and the perceived social support have been added as the variables that moderate the relationship between prior experience entrepreneurial intentions. The study has been conducted through the positivism philosophy, and with the quantitative method, a survey was conducted based on the questionnaire consisted of the items related to understudied variables. Through purposive sampling, the data were collected from 231 students studying bachelors and masters at University of Beijing and Shanghai. SPSS software was used for screening and descriptive analysis, and AMOS was used for structure modeling and confirmatory factor analysis. Results showed that prior experience tends to have greater social entrepreneurial intent, empathy, self-efficacy, and moral obligation that have positive and significant impact on entrepreneurial intent. On the other hand, perceived social support puts negative impact on entrepreneurial intention. Business schools and policymakers can take advantage of this study. The future studies can increase the sample size and can add the variables of belief to study the entrepreneurial intention.
The aim and purpose of this paper is to contribute and understand the nature of the digital divide as it affects the Pakistani citizens, who are users of NADRA online portal. To study the digital divide; NADRA is the best case because this institute is rich in this context; it is the most developed e-services provider of the government of Pakistan. It is compulsory for every citizen of Pakistan to get register with NADRA to avail facilities of Travelling within and outside the country, to have a bank account, apply for jobs, having a house, driving license and many more. To conduct the survey data was collected from the citizen of Pakistan living in Turkey, China, and Pakistan. 355 responses were collected, and ANOVA and t-test were perform using SPSS-16. Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was used to measure the attitude and intention of individuals towards e-services provided by government whereas, demographic, geographic, education and computer and internet experiences are the digital divide dimensions. Results reveal that location, education, and computer and internet significantly affect the user attitude and intention whereas gender and age are not significant. Overall, this study offers an understanding of complex of digital divide concepts.
The contemporary smart concepts of education signify a heavy role of blogging tools in digital learning environments that have a substantial effect on students' learning and satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the influence of students' four perceptions about blogging that is, perception of digital technology (PDT), perceptions of teaching and learning (PTL), perceptions of previous blogging experience (PBE), and perceived usefulness of blogging (PUB) on the frequency of blogging and then assesses the impact of the frequency of blogging on perceived satisfaction as well as perceived learning of students. For this purpose, the researchers conducted a quantitative study with a positivist approach in which the data were collected from 350 students in Anhui Province, China to conduct analysis of the proposed relationships. The results of the current study suggest that there is a positive impact of PDT, PTL, PBE and PUB on the frequency of blogging. It means that the positive perceptions of students towards digital technology, teaching and learning, previous bogging experience and usefulness of blogging result in higher frequency and use of blogging activity. It further indicates that the high frequency of blogging has ultimately a positive impact on perceived satisfaction and perceived learning. The discussion and findings of the current study have useful implications for theory and practice because they provide empirical evidence and theoretical guidelines about the role of blogging in perceived learning and satisfaction.
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian yang mengkaji tentang pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik dan motivasi kerja guru terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Jumlah populasi dan sampel sebanyak 56 orang siswa dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu teknik penetapan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi langsung, teknik komunikasi langsung, teknik komunikasi tidak langsung dan teknik dokumentasi dengan alat pengumpulan data berupa pedoman observasi, angket, pedoman wawancara dan dokumen. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda yang terdiri dari dua variabel bebas dan satu variabel terikat. Berdasarkan analisis data terdapat pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik guru dan motivasi kerja terhadap hasil belajar siswa, besarnya pengaruh dapat dilihat dari besarnya t_hitung kompetensi pedagogik 0,288 < t_hitung motivasi kerja guru sebesar 1,562
