This study aimed to examine relationships between graduates' grade point average (GPA), biographical data and success in finding a job in general and a psychologybased job in particular. Two hundred six psychology graduates participated in a twowave longitudinal study. Biographical data assessed were extracurricular activities, computer and foreign language skills, participation in a growth mindset enrichment programme and in general enrichment programmes, and work experiences. GPA showed significant relationship with success in finding psychology-based job. Participation in growth mindset enrichment programme was related to the success in finding a job in general and in finding a psychology-based job. Work experiences predicted the success in finding a job in general. Extracurricular activities, foreign language skill and participation in general enrichment programmes showed significant relationships with success in finding psychology-based job. Computer skills did not emerge as determinant of finding a job. Practical implications are discussed.
Proper use of neuropsychological tests in Indonesia is hindered by a lack of properly adapted neurocognitive tests as well as an absence of normative data. In 2016, we started adapting ten of these tests for use in Indonesia and collected data from healthy participants in Java. Here we introduce and propose a system that will facilitate the proper usage and interpretation of test scores: an online platform and a dynamic database. Newly collected data (492 healthy adults) of the Indonesian version of the Boston Naming Test (I-BNT) were used to illustrate the usefulness of the two functions. Analysis of variances, post-hoc tests, and a simulation study revealed the effects of age and education on the I-BNT, indicating that it is imperative to fine-tune the reference group based on these demographic factors. Putative inadequate sample size issues for obtaining reliable normative scores were overcome by employing regression analyses and the prediction of normative scores. It can be concluded that a flexible online platform is available for the calculation of normative scores either based on the whole population, on fine-tuned reference groups, or on predicted scores. The dynamic database's growth will allow to obtain even more fine-tuned and more reliable reference data as well as more accurate predictions. Fine-tuned reference data are badly needed for the heterogenous Indonesian population.
This research aimed to study the relationship between age and sex with each subtest of the RAVLT-Rey 1964 version. There were 108 students participated in this research. Their ages ranged from 18-38 year old. There were 40 male and 68 female participants. The results of the research showed that there were significant negative correlations between age and Short Term Percent Retention p<0.05). But there was no significant correlation between age and verbal Learning over Trial (r= -0,126, p>0.05). There was no significant differences between male and female participants on the three results of the RAVLT. However, we found that there were signifantly differences between male and female students on trial A4 score tM-F= -2,746, p<.05, on the differences score between A3 and A4 (tM-F= -2,164, p < .05,) and on the differences between A4 and A5 (tM-F= 2,494), p<.05.
Pertemuan Tatap Muka (PTM) Terbatas or limited face-to-face learning, which has been implemented in several regions of Indonesia, has brought new challenges to the world of education in Indonesia. Limited face-to-face learning requires certain schools to start face-to-face learning in schools with a maximum attendance of 50% of the total students in each class while at the same time continuing to provide online learning for students at home. The synchronous hybrid learning model is considered an effective solution when limited face-to-face learning is implemented. This learning model allows some students at home to take online lessons with some other students present at school. However, synchronous hybrid learning brings challenges for teachers. These challenges are especially in technology management, which causes technostress on teachers. This research aims to discuss solutions to the problem of technostress for teachers during the implementation of synchronous hybrid learning at the elementary school level. This research used a systematic literature review of 18 articles. The study results found that technology training, the provision of adequate facilities, and a support system for teachers, both from the principal's optimistic leadership style and parental assistance, can be supporting factors to increase teacher resilience when facing technostress during the implementation of synchronous hybrid learning. Finally, the results of this study are expected to be a guide for schools to formulate policies that help anticipate the occurrence of technostress in teachers so that they can increase teacher resilience in the implementation of synchronous hybrid learning at the elementary school level.
This research is entitled "The Influence of Self-Efficacy and Entrepreneurial Motivation on Entrepreneurial Interest in Management Study Program Students, Pasundan University (Class of 2018-2020)". The problem phenomenon in this study is that the unemployment rate in Indonesia is still very high. The entrepreneurial interest of students from the Management Study Program at Pasundan University (Class of 2018-2020) is still low at 3.06% of students who have an entrepreneurial interest. Self-efficacy is still low at 2.86% and entrepreneurial motivation at 2.93%. The hypothesis of this research consists of a simultaneous hypothesis, namely that self-efficacy and entrepreneurial motivation influence entrepreneurial interest. The partial hypothesis is that there is an effect of self-efficacy on entrepreneurial interest and the influence of entrepreneurial motivation on entrepreneurial interest. This study aims to determine how much influence self-efficacy and entrepreneurial motivation have on entrepreneurial interest in students of Pasundan University Management Study Program (Class of 2018-2020). The research method used is descriptive and verification with a sample of 100 respondents. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis and correlation analysis simultaneously and partially, hypothesis testing simultaneously, and partial analysis of the coefficient of determination simultaneously or partially. The results showed that self-efficacy and entrepreneurial motivation positively and significantly affected entrepreneurial interest.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
