Abstract-With the increasing dependence on internet sources, educational web tools have offered teachers with various opportunities to investigate the most appropriate educational tools to suit their students" learning preferences. Undeniably, students in this digital age need to learn how to effectively and efficiently create, collaborate and share new information on the web through the use of different tools available on the web for lifelong learning.
In today's milieu, new demands and trends emerge in the field of Education giving teachers of Higher Education Institutions (HEI's) no choice but to be innovative to cope with the fast changing technology. To be naturally innovative, a graduate school teacher needs to be technologically and pedagogically competent. One of the ways to be on this level is by creating his cyber portfolio to support students' eportfolio for lifelong learning. Cyber portfolio is an innovative menu for teachers who seek out strategies to integrate technology in their lessons. This paper presents a straightforward preparation on how to innovate a cyber portfolio that has its practical and breakthrough solution against expensive and inflexible vended software which often saddle many universities. Additionally, this cyber portfolio is free and it addresses the 21st century skills of graduate students blended with higher order thinking skills, multiple intelligence, technology and multimedia.
Abstract-With the growing reliance on information technology, new trends were marshaled in the field of education to produce graduates endowed with 21st century skills. It is unequivocal that collaborative elearning encourages teachers to innovate for the enhancement of students' learning. In furtherance of the ongoing teaching-learning upgrades, this study aimed to evaluate the use of Toondoo as a tool for collaborative elearning to selected education students. Specifically, this study determined the extent to which Toondoo has promoted students' collaborative e-learning, and identified the influence of Toondoo to students' learning. Using descriptive-correlation design, results showed that students exhibit positive attitudes on the use of Toondoo. Results further revealed that Toondoo has significantly influenced students' performance, albeit they differ according to their attitudes toward the employment of Toondoo.
This paper presents a clear-cut research on how PBL was employed. This contributes to the realistic environmental application by equipping learners in addressing environmental vulnerabilities and threats, which are often compounded to economic devastation. It was an exploratory qualitative research design which employed a case-study method. This study reveals that PBL has a sustainability mechanism once used as advocacy for environmental conservation. The utilization of this endeavour has a strong force to the holistic learning of the students. Likewise, it contributed directly in developing students’ values in line with environmental sustainability through the preservation of communities’ sensitive areas.
