This research proposed to determine the factors of customer preferences in Islamic or Sharia banking. The research sampling which being use is the students of Economic studies mainly in 5th semester and 7th semester. The research designed in quantitative research by collecting data using questionnaires. Analysis technique using doubled linear regression. The result indicates that (1) Religion or beliefs have positive effect towards the rate of Economic Studies students preferences in Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta University towards Sharia Banking; (2) Costs factor has adverse effect but further insignificant towards the level of Economic Studies students preferences in Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta University towards Sharia Banking; (3) Benefits factor has positive effect yet negligible to the level of Economic Studies students preferences in Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta University towards Sharia Banking; (4) Facilities factor carry out positive impact towards the rate of Economic Studies students preferences in Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta University towards Sharia Banking; (5) Knowledge factor positively affected towards the rate of Economic Studies students preferences in Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta University towards Sharia Banking.
This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the liquidity of Islamic banks in Indonesia. The analysis is carried out using sequential monthly data published by Bank Indonesia in the period 2010 to 2018. The variables used are internal factors (Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Return On Assets (ROA)) and external factors (SBI Inflation and Interest Rates) ) The method used in this study is the Vector Error Corection Model (VECM). Based on the results of the study show that in the short term, the variable CAR, ROA, Inflation and SBI interest rates positively and significantly affect FDR. Whereas in the long term, the CAR variable and inflation have a significant positive effect on FDR, the ROA variable negatively influences FDR. And the variable SBI interest rate does not have a significant effect on FDR.
Style development changes every year. Indonesia, where the population majority is Muslim, is now developing an Islamic lifestyle. This style development can be supported by the inclusion of halal labeling on product packaging. The halal label on the product guarantees that the product is safe for consumption or use. Muslim consumers will consider this before making a purchase indeed. Safi product is a cosmetic product that is halal and safe because they do not contain harmful ingredients. This study aims to analyze the purchasing decision of students for Safi Cosmetics at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta and what factors influence the purchasing decision for Safi Cosmetics. This study used data from 120 people. The sample collection used the purposive sampling technique and multiple regression analysis in analyzing primary data. The analytical tool used in this study is the SPSS version 21.0 for windows software. The results obtained in this study are lifestyle variables, halal labels, and prices have a positive and significant effect on students' purchasing decisions for Safi Cosmetic at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. This study shows that the coefficient of determination is 0.484 or 48.4%. The decision of students at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta to purchase Safi Cosmetics can be shown that 48.4% is influenced by lifestyle, halal labels, and prices. Meanwhile, 51.6% is explained by other variables outside the model.
This study was conducted to determine and analyze the effect of inflation, exchange rates, and the BI Rate on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI). The method used in this research is the Error Correction Model (ECM). The data used are 55time series. Based on the analysis that has been done, the research results show that in the short term only the BI Rate has a significant negative effect on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI). Meanwhile, in the long term, the Exchange Rate and BI Rate variables have a significant negative effect on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI). Variable inflation has no effect on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI).
This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic banking toward the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) capital in Yogyakarta. This test uses primary data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires with analysis tools using SPSS 20 software. The sampling method in this study used purposive sampling where 100 samples were selected according to the research criteria. In this study using the sample criteria with microfinance customers in Islamic banking in Yogyakarta. The data analysis technique in this test is multiple regression analysis. So, the results obtained in this test show that the variables of assistance, accessibility, and financing products have a positive and significant effect on capital development. However, the service variable does not have a positive and significant effect on MSMEs’ capital development in Yogyakarta.
