The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying the Reggio Emilia Approach in roleplaying and telling stories of early childhood language skills. The type of research used in the study was an experiment with a quasi-experimental design. The influence of the application of the Reggio Emilia Approach can be seen by comparing the average score obtained from the language proficiency test between the experimental groups applying the Reggio Emilia Approach in role play with the average score obtained from the control group using the Reggio Emilia Approach approach in storytelling. The conclusion is that the application of the Reggio Emilia Approach in role-playing and storytelling influences early childhood language skills.
his paper is the result of the Community Partnership Program (PKM) activity by presenting the use ofAcrylic Manipulative Aids (APMA) for learning fraction concepts for math teachers. The purpose of the activity isto maximize active learning activities in the classroom and use teaching aids in mathematics learning activities. Thetarget is for junior high school teachers in Bulukumba District where 21 people are involved in the activity. Theform of activities is training, while implementation information is fulfilled by providing worksheets andquestionnaires as response sheets for activities. The results of the training activities carried out received a positiveresponse. Not only is APMA considered feasible as a medium of learning or teaching aids, but it can also be used tohelp students overcome difficulties in learning the concept of fractions, fraction operations consisting of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. In addition, by convincing the teacher to respond that APMA can completethe explanations contained in mathematics textbooks. In other words, in addition to learning by using learningresources derived from books, APMA is also useful to supplement the provision of understanding to students in theclassroom.
This study aims to improve fine motor abilities through folding activities. The method uses quantitative data analysis and descriptive percentage analysis to process existing data to get answers to the problems to be solved. The population in this study was group B children of TK Muslimat Nu 135 Berbek, as many as ten children, consisting of 3 boys and seven girls. This study is designed as a repeating cycle until the target is met. Based on the analysis of activity data folded in the first cycle by 10% with the number of 3 children completed. Because it has not met the target, this study continues in the second cycle, 60%, with the number of 6 children who can independently. This research continues until cycle III when the completion rate results are 100% and have met the target. Then this PTK was declared victorious. This study concludes that as many as ten children can be carried out through folding activities to improve fine motor skills in group B children in Nu 135 Berbek Muslimat Kindergarten.
This research examines the Whispering Chain Game on Receptive Language Skills of 5-6-year-old Children in Kindergartens in Makassar City. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of children's receptive language skills before being treated, to find out the description of children's receptive language skills after being treated, and to determine whether or not there was an effect of the chain-whisper game on the receptive language skills of children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten. Makassar city before and after the chain whispering activity was given. The research approach used was a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental Design type of research. The population in this study were students aged 5-6 years in TK Aisyiyah Parangtambung. Sampling in this study is cluster random sampling. The sample in this study was 12 children. A total of 6 children in the experimental group and 6 children in the control group. Data collection techniques used were descriptive statistical analysis and non-parametric statistical analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the receptive language skills of children who were treated with the whisper-chain game method in the experimental class were better than in the control class, while Tcount = 87 > Ttable = 2,228 was accepted, and H0 was rejected while Zcount was = 2.36 and Ztable = 0.4906 was rejected. H1 accepts this proves that the whisper-chain game method has a significant effect on receptive language skills in early childhood.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
