Many parameters and environments conditions will affect the behavior of the photovoltaic cell. This paper investigates, theoretically the variation of each temperature and irradiation effects on the output of the photovoltaic cell characteristics. Modeling of the photovoltaic cell scheme essentially requires taking weather data (temperature and irradiance) as input variables. The photovoltaic outputs are the current, voltage and power. Though, conclude the characteristics I-V or P-V desires of these important variables. Any variation in the entries directly shows variations in outputs. The characteristic curves are obtained with the use practical readings and measurements are illustrated directly from the solar power plant in the Technical Engineering College of Mosul. The complete modeling is then computer-generated using MATLAB/Simulink software owing to its common use and its helpfulness.
This study reports on the fabrication of a Schottky solar cell with a cross-sectional schematic: ITO/PbS/Al with a commercial transparent conductive ITO and a p-type PbS absorber layer deposited by using a thermal evaporator. The structural and optical properties of constituent films are presented. X-ray diffraction showed that the thin films are polycrystalline. By using scanning electron microscopy, this study showed that the films possessed a uniform surface morphology over the substrate, and the films exhibit a nanocoral structure. Open circuit voltage,short-circuit current density and characteristics were studied under 30 mW/cm2 solar radiation.
Wind energy conversion systems (WECS) now play a significant role in meeting the world's energy needs. Several different approaches are used to try to increase the reliability of these renewable energy systems. Smart systems are designed to be more proactive to improve the performance of renewable energy equipment. Artificial neural networks (ANNs) have a variety of applications, including controlling renewable energy systems. Using optimal torque control (OTC) system based prediction techniques, a controller to monitor a maximum point of wind turbine output power (MPPT) is designed and modeled in this paper. MATLAB/Simulink package tools for neural networks are also used to design the controller and simulate it to achieve the necessary results and to obtain an appropriate analysis for the controller. The results show that the ANN is more active and delivers better output than the traditional controller.

A partial discharge described as anon-linear electrical break-down even that happened in a section of insulating area between two conduct which are at different potentials the damage of the insulating material, these conductors have a different insulating material potential of damage, under AC voltage discharge interval process. In this paper, we propose a Matlab /Simulation software. A detailed analysis of the partial discharge (PD) signal in the underground electric power conductor performed for monitoring, and investigation of numerous effects associated with the partial discharge event, such as heat ,phonic and electrical. Thus, to gain the important data of the insulating material status.

This article describes the methodology of speed control by understanding control method of DC motor, definitely, armature and field resistances with additional to armature voltage control methods. The speed of DC motor is controlled PI controller as donor in this work. Using Matlab simulation and practical measurements, Terco DC motor speed control is achieved in this work. The results that obtained from Matlab simulation circuit is appeared approximately similar that obtained by practical connection.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
