This study aims to analyze and determine the influence of academic supervision of school supervisors on the professionalism of teachers at SDN Medan Amplas Subdistrict. The population in this study is the entire technical service unit (TSU) Of Medan Amplas Subdistrict Elementary School which amounts to 22 schools, with the number of teachers as many as 323 teachers. Sample withdrawal in this study using proportional procedures and random sampling, so that a sample of 116 teachers as respondents was obtained. The design of this study uses variables consisting of independent variable, namely academic supervision of school supervisors (X), and dependent variable namely teacher professionalism (Y). Data collection techniques using questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used in this study are descriptive analysis and inference analysis. The calculation of analysis test in this study was conducted using the help of Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) program. Based on the results of research that has been conducted that academic supervision has a significant effect on the Professionalism of Teachers in (TSU) State Elementary School Medan Amplas Subdistrict. This is evidenced by the significant value (0.000 <0.05). Similarly, the results of the variable determination coefficient of teacher professionalism accounted for 57.7% of academic supervision while the remaining 42.3% was influenced by other variables.
The purpose of this study is to determine and review: (1) teacher performance models that are built based on the associative causal relationship between exogenous variables and endogenous variables, (2) the effect of interpersonal communication on job satisfaction, (3) the effect of interpersonal communication on teacher performance, (4) the effect of satisfaction on teacher performance. This research was conducted in elementary schools with 154 respondents from 28 public elementary schools in Pidie Jaya. For questionnaire data collection with five alternative answer choices, while for the performance variable is done by observation using an observation sheet. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling. The instrument used was preceded by a trial to respondents outside the sample to obtain a valid and relative instrument. Validity test uses product moment correlation, whereas to test its reliability with the Alpha formula from Cronbach. Before testing the hypothesis first, the analysis requirements test is calculated including the data normality test and the regression linearity test. The results showed (1) obtained by the teacher performance model, (2) Interpersonal communication had a direct positive effect on job satisfaction, (3) Interpersonal communication had a direct positive effect on teacher performance, (4)Job satisfaction had a positive direct effect on teacher performance. Based on the acceptance of research hypotheses, a theoretical model or fixed model is found that describes the structure of the causal relationship between Interpersonal Communication variables, organizational culture, job satisfaction, work motivation and teacher performance while to test its reliability with the Alpha formula from Cronbach.
The Effect of Innovative Behavior on Managerial Competence of Primary School Principals in Labuhan Batu DistrictAbstractThis study aims to describe the pattern of relationships between variables involved based on empirical data collected using the developed instrument. This research is a quality study conducted in Labuhanbatu Regency for 4 (four) months from July 2019 to October 2019. The target population in this study is the Principal of State Elementary Schools in Labuhanbatu Regency as many as 241 schools. The instrument used to collect innovative behavioral variable data was developed and tested first to test its validity and reliability while the managerial competency variable of principals used existing instruments taken from documents belonging to the Department of Education so that validity and reliability tests were not carried out. The results of this study are known from the results of the school principal's innovative behavior data obtained by the Mean value = 68.37 and Standard Deviation = 13.739. To identify trends or categorizing the level of innovative behavior of principals based on the mean and standard deviation. Based on the results of this study concluded that Innovative Behavior affects Managerial Competence.
