Abstract. This article aimed to reflect on sexual violence in the family through the narrative of 2 Samuel 13:1-22. Sexual violence in the family thrives in a patriarchal society structure. This article responded to the issue of gender-based sexual violence by conducting a theological reflection on 2 Samuel 13:1-22 through a feminist perspective. Therefore, this article voices the experiences and perspectives of women on the issue of sexual violence in the family as an effort to strengthen the discourse on the eradication of sexual violence in any form. This study revealed that gender inequality in the structure of a patriarchal society contributes to violence against women. Therefore, it is necessary to advocate for women victims of violence because they are in a powerless position.Abstrak.
