Copper-Catalyzed Three-Component One-Pot Synthesis of Substituted 2-Aryl--1,3-benzoselenazoles. -A simple method for the synthesis of the title compounds (III) using inexpensive and readily available 2-iodoanilines (I), various aromatic aldehydes (II) and selenium powder without ligands and other additives under mild reaction conditions is presented. -(SU, T.; XIE, S.; LI, B.; YAN, J.; HUANG*, L.; LI, X.; Synlett 26 (2015) 2, 215-220, http://dx.
A simple copper-catalyzed, one-pot synthesis of 2-aryl-1,3benzoselenazole derivatives was developed using inexpensive, readily available 2-iodoanilines, selenium powder, and aromatic aldehydes as the starting materials. The mild reaction conditions and simple procedure without ligands and other additives make this methodology an alternative for preparing these potential selenium-containing compounds very conveniently.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
