The large differences in the values obtained worldwide emphasize the necessity of providing population-specific WC reference curves from different populations, which in turn may result in an international reference standard similar to that provided for body mass index.
The purpose of this study is to determine premenstrual syndromes (PMS) and PMS-related anger observed in primary school teachers, and examine the relationship between of PMS on anger and anger expression styles. Since anger should not be investigated alone, the effects of PMS on anger development in teachers were demonstrated in this study. The study is an analytical and cross-sectional one. The sample consists of 113 teachers. The socio-demographic characteristics data form, Premenstrual Assessment Form (PAF) and SL-Anger-Trait Anger and Anger Expression Scale were used as data collection tools. For the data analysis, numbers and percentage distributions, the means of two independent samples and correlation analysis were used. The study findings demonstrated that approximately half of the teachers suffered PMS, their trait anger and anger expression scores were moderate and PMS affected their trait anger and anger expression styles.
