The diversity of Indonesian society, from ethnicity, religion, race, and class, is a social asset that harmony must be maintained. Multicultural education has an important role in maintaining this harmony. Prospective social science education teachers must have an attractive learning design in increasing understanding related to multicultural education. This study aims to see the effect of digital book learning design on multicultural education for prospective teachers. Researchers collaborated with students of the 2017 social science education study program, faculty of social science, Jakarta State University. Analysis of learning outcomes with two-way MANCOVA analysis with one covariate. The results show the interest in learning multicultural education, a significance value of 0.955 which is greater than 0.05, then H0 is accepted. The significance value obtained from all outputs is 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05, so H0 is rejected. So, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using digital book learning media on students' multicultural education
<p>The objective of this research was to determine the level of coastal children eco-literacy by using storytelling about the role of mangroves for coastal communities in Serang Regency - Banten. The research methodology was classroom action research (CAR). The implementation of classroom action research was conducted of two cycles. There was cycle I and cycle II, each cycle consisted of two meetings. This research involved third-grade students which consisted of 30 students in SDN Cerocoh, Serang Regency - Banten. The instrument of the research was data collecting technique, the data were observation, tests (pre-test and post-tests), and documentation. The result of this research showed that there was a significant difference in the students’ eco-literacy in pre-test and post-test after learning environmental education with mangrove storytelling. The average score of pre-test was 48.52%, while, after giving treatment in cycle I, the students average score in post-test I was 68.94%. Then, after giving treatment in cycle II, the students’ average score in post-test II was 87.17%. Based on the data the researcher concluded that: 1) there was the improvement coastal student eco-literacy by using mangrove storytelling in teaching environmental education at our environmental thematic subject 2) the students became interested and motivated in learning about mangroves.</p>

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku pro-lingkungan peserta didik setelah diberi media pembelajaran yang berbeda (karikatur dan komik) di kelas berdasarkan gender. Metode yang digunakan eksperimen faktorial 2 x 2. Pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling dengan 56 peserta didik SMP yang terdiri dari 28 peserta didik laki-laki dan 28 peserta didik perempuan. Data yang terkumpul bersumber dari pengambilan data dengan instrumen nontes berupa kuesioner menggunakan skala likert. Hasil perhitungan two way ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa Fhitung = 7,22 pada > Ftabel pada α=0,05 = 4,16. Hasil pengujian membuktikan adanya pengaruh yang sangat signifikan antara media pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran terhadap perilaku pro-lingkungan. Adanya interaksi membuktikan bahwa masing-masing media pembelajaran memberi pengaruh yang berbeda terhadap perilaku pro-lingkungan jika diterapkan pada peserta didik dengan gender yang berbeda. Rekomendasi penelitian ini, diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif media pembelajaran berbasis gender dalam mengukur perilaku pro-lingkungan. Selain itu, peneliti selanjutnya dapat meneliti faktor-faktor lain baik secara langsung dan tidak langsung yang mempengaruhi perilaku pro-lingkungan peserta didik.
The purpose of this study is to overview the local wisdom from local knowledge and local value, which build as an environmental educational approach to Kasepuhan Ciptagelar society. This research used a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, observation, and document evaluation from June until November 2019 on the Kasepuhan Ciptagelar society. The data analysis of this study was completed through a process of reduction, verification, and conclusions. Local wisdom at Kasepuhan Ciptagelar contains environmental education values; physical, social, and cultural-environmental educations. It shows from their attachment to nature where the laws and natural cycles become their benchmark in the agricultural system used. Activities related to the society farming system are still implemented collectively to strengthen ties between residents through cooperation, which is a characteristic of their social-environmental education and seen from cultural-environmental education. It is closely related to a series of customary rituals that must be carried out by the Kasepuhan Ciptagelar agricultural activity.
