Physical education, sports and health (Physical Education) is a subject in which students are given the opportunity to learn through systematic physical, sport and health activities. Physical education learning achievement carried out in elementary schools can be influenced by several supporting factors, one of which is determined by the ability of PJOK teachers in teaching and assessing students' abilities. Authentic assessment is an assessment that is measured significantly from student learning outcomes in the realm of attitudes, knowledge and skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the understanding of PJOK teachers about physical education and authentic assessment in the city of Kotabumi, North Lampung. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive with the number of respondents as many as 30PJOK teachers who are members of the KKG in Kotabumi. The data collection was carried out in January-May 2021 via google form. The calculation of the data is done by categorizing the data into categories of very understanding, understanding, not understanding, and very not understanding. The results obtained are the understanding of physical education teachers about physical education and sports by 43% very understanding and 57% understanding and understanding of physical education teachers about the purpose of physical education and sports by 37% not understanding. PJOK teachers' understanding of the application of authentic assessment is that 53% understand the knowledge aspect, 70% understand the attitude aspect and 45% do not understand the skill aspect. Conclusion: PJOK teachers' understanding of the implementation and objectives of physical education learning is in a good category. PJOK Elementary School teachers' understanding of authentic assessment is in the good category. However, in understanding the application of the three aspects of authentic assessment, it has not been maximized, because PJOK teachers are still carried away with the conventional assessment system.
Prediabetes mellitus is a condition of a person's blood sugar, which, if in a fasting state, ranges from 100-125 mg / dL (IFG) or 2 hours after eating, the blood sugar level is 140-199 mg / dL. Physical activity and BMI are factors that trigger prediabetes mellitus. Therefore it is necessary to hold preventive efforts to reduce the rate of development of prediabetes mellitus which is increasing and increasing public awareness regarding the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The purpose of writing this literature is to analyze physical activity and body mass index on the incidence of prediabetes mellitus in high school students. The research writing method used a literature review. Data were collected from 30 journals which were then selected into 22 journals with related variables, namely physical activity and body mass index with the incidence of prediabetes mellitus, a sample of high school students aged 15-18 years . The results of the literature review are that physical activity plays a role in controlling blood sugar and Body Mass Index (BMI) contributes to the occurrence of prediabetes if followed by an unhealthy waist circumference, less physical activity results in an increase in BMI which ultimately triggers prediabetes mellitus.
When doing sports can not be separated from the name injury. Most sports injuries occur in schools. Therefore, sports teachers play an essential role in handling injuries in schools. The purpose of this study was to find out how high the level of knowledge about early injury management using the PRICES (Protection, Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation, Support) method of PJOK teachers at junior high schools in North Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi. This type of research is descriptive and quantitative. This research uses the survey method, and in the process of collecting data using a questionnaire technique. The population in this study were PJOK junior high school teachers in North Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi, amounting to 56 people. Sampling in this study using total sampling. The collected data is then analyzed using descriptive techniques with percentages. The results of this study show the level of knowledge of PJOK teachers of junior high school teachers in North Morowali Regency is in the high category. However, in implementation, it is seen that the factors of applying, analyzing, and evaluating the percentage are still lacking.
Penuaan adalah proses yang tidak dapat dihindari oleh lansia, penuaan dapat menimbulkan berbagai masalah terkait kualitas hidup. Setiap lansia mengharapkan dapat mempunyai kualitas hidup yang baik, Kualitas hidup dipengaruhi salah satunya oleh kesehatan fisik, untuk mendapatkan kesehatan fisik lansia harus melakukan aktivitas fisik dengan benar. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk melakukan pendampingan dan pelatihan olahraga permainan woodball bagi lansia di panti Wredha Salatiga. Target dan luaran pada kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan level aktivitas fisik dan menumbuhkan kebiasaan hidup aktif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kualitas hidup lansia dari aspek kesehatan fisik, melakukan pelatihan woodball, dan melalui kegiatan ini masyarakat dapat mengenal woodball. Kegiatan ini berjalan dengan baik dan dapat membuktikan bahwa olahraga permainan woodball dapat dimainkan oleh siapa saja tanpa memandang usia.
Direct seeding (direct planting of seed in the field) is an alternative method for reforestation in tropical area. The objectives of this study were to understand the effect of direct seeding and weeds on growth of merbau (Intsia bijuga OK.). This study was done in Cikabayan experimental farm of Agriculture Faculty, Bogor Institute of Agriculture from November 2008 untill Februari 2009. The result showed that direct seeding with buried method produced significant effect on early growth. Compared with the mulch covering method, the buried method increases height (28,44 cm), germination percentage (95%), germination rate (12,21 day), seed survival (89,67%) and nutrient uptake (N & P). The mulch covering method without weeding resulted in law dry weight (0,8 g)
